I've always thought Mason County boys should have some games in the downtown gym. Those gyms are the best 2 in the region and should use both of them when the girls aren't playing.

Mason County's band last year took up that the whole lower section the the corner. That's about 75 seats.

I very highly doubt the commissioner will take away Bracken's pick at hosting district.

The band is the reason for that, it takes up a lot of seating.

Then when you go back home to Maysville you can go somewhere? Really not as big of a deal as you're making it out to be.

The host school gets 100% of the concessions. The host school also gets $1,800 for hosting.

Also your team hosting district/region can be used to develop an interest in basketball. As a little kid going to a game seeing all the people in the gym, wouldn't that make you want play in front of all these people?

It's also an unfair advantage for Mason County to play at Fieldhouse every year. It being one of the hardest gyms to adjust to shooting wise. There's no backdrop behind the goals and and messes with depth perception and takes a while to get used to.

Because in some cases (like last year) attendance for a St. Pat/Mason County finals wouldn't be very good. But that would also bring more money.

Besides parking, no one has named a valid reason for Bracken County to host the District Tournament. And the parking problem has a solution.

He to my knowledge is not playing basketball and baseball to focus on his cross-country and track career which he has had a lot of success in.

I read through your posts, a lot of negativity on high schoolers having fun. They are 10-12 on a very tough schedule. And everybody still seems to forget that they are without their second leading scorer who played from 1st grade through junior year, who played on that middle school team you mentioned. That's not just something you can replace overnight!
