I think they brought the Beechwood program back to earth starting with the 30 point win the other night, and carrying through with JV and Varsity tonight.

The 30ish point win was Frosh.

Merely a district game. These schools sit just a few miles apart off the same highway but have been on a different level forever in basketball. Beechwood has however been noted more as a football power in their class which is lower than CovCath's classification.

I think the game is a little more than just a district game between two neighborhood schools at this point. Not saying it is a Duke/North Carolina level thing, but most of us view Beechwood as a program on the rise, maybe the best talent it's ever had top to bottom in the program, and CovCath is the king-of-the-hill at this point.

 

Nothing wrong with showing how dominant you are, until it crosses the subjective line of "bad sportsmanship", and I'm not aware of CCH crossing that line.
