I would expect with the next week off they will use their time wisely to prepare for their hard end of the year into tournament play schedule... It's time for these seniors to show up!

I don't know if they are burnt out from playing too much basketball throughout their careers or peaked early, but thought this group would dominate the 10th over the last two years, as well as being top 10 in the state. I think they will pick it up when it counts, but don't know

Can we not give NC credit? NC played within 10 of Scott and won the 10th region all a classic title and beat Green County who played right with GRC.

They have improved. But so has the 10th. Hard to compare because the road to the state tournament is so much different.

Letcher is the easy choice for COY.

As mentioned somewhere else, Greg Letcher should definitely be in running for coach of the year.

I think Nicholas County is disagreeing with the preseason posts that it's a 4 team race between Mason, GRC, Scott, Campbell. They are the solid 5 ranking right now and are pushing to break the top 4.

Scott played without Clephane and Campbell and Clark handled them easily so pull back on the reins just a bit before considering them a top 4 team.

Nicholas's run determines on which district runner up they draw. They want to draw Bracken Co. girls who's looking at possibly the first losing season in several years.
