To put it in perspective, last year Assumption lost to Harlan on a last second 18 footer. Assumption was probably the 6th-7th best team in the 7th Region last year, and Harlan won the 13th Region. Very frustrating when the talent and level of teams is that skewered.

Don't disagree Watchmen and certainly that is the case in light of the two best teams left playing are meeting in the first round. Others like Mercer can surely knock them off and win it all, but the road is far less challenging which could hurt Sacred Heart or Butler in rounds after the first round.

I chuckled at that but after awhile you get use to the reputation based rankings on players.

Could be State Tournament Championship since Male and others are out! I think it is Butler's to lose and we shall see how they show up and how Sacred Heart and their less experienced girls play. Don't get me wrong, Sacred Heart can play with them but who knows what happens when this is your first time in State tournament, especially those freshmen.

Great question and one I need to think about seriously! Guess I have not out the vision into practice like Ron Kordes (Assumption Volleyball and KIVA travel director) did about 20 plus years ago. Need to find me a facility.
