I attended the girls state tournament. It was great to see the KYWCA make the effort to host the first girls state championship. Harrison County won it and brought 16 girls and had 20 total on their roster I believe. Ft. Campbell had around 11 and Louisville Central (12 total girls) ended up 2nd and 3rd.

This should be a great game. Western Hills has an explosive running game and HC has a lot of dangerous backs as well along with a great defense. I'm excited to see the result of this game. Good luck to both teams.

Any predictions for the Bourbon vs Harrison County game. This district has been a roller coaster ride. If Harrison beats Bourbon and Scott beats Holmes there should be a three way tie. Any ideas on the tie breaker criteria? I know it deals with the wins of the opponents each team has beaten correct?

I hope that these two teams continue to play each other. The rivalary from the 80's/90's has been renewed. I heard HC lost a lineman and Paris lost a tough running back. Should be interesting.

Good luck to Coach Furnish in TN. Rumor mill is Coach Van Isaac (former HC QB and 4 year player at Georgetown College) or former HC Coach Ray Graham for the job. I'm hoping someone can stay the course and invest 10+ years in the program.

Anybody notice a correlation between JC's success on the football field with their success on the wrestling mat? Several of JC's offensive and defensive starters are wrestlers. I wish more football coaches would buy in to the wrestling programs, it would benefit both sports exponentially.

If HC moves the ball well they have a good shot to win, defensively they have been solid throughout the year. Greenup is BIG up front and have several solid players. I think this will be a very competitive game.

Don't count Bourbon out just yet. If the right team shows up they may put Ashland on the ropes. Should be a competitive game if the weather conditions hold up. Bolin has a very accurate arm and good receivers.

I think it will be a competitive game. Greenup is scrappy, HC has big playmakers. Whoever's defense shows up will win this game.

I have read about the inconsistencies with each team. If both teams come to play this should be crap shoot in my opinion. I have seen both teams play, I've seen HC play more this year. If the Thorobreds show up like they did against Bourbon County, I see them getting their 5th win and ending the regular season 5-5, which hasn't happened in a long time.

This should be a great game. the last time I saw Lloyd play was against Grant Co. They have vastly improved since then. HC is coming off a huge win over rival bourbon county, if they keep the momentum this should be an exciting game.

Looks like the rain is coming in before game time. This will help HC's air attack, interested to see what the QB/WR/WR combo can do against Mason's defense. HC has to contain #8, he could hurt HC in the run game.

If HC can stop #10 , I think they do very well in this game and put up a lot of points against the Bulldogs. I have seen Holmes play and number 10 is their playmaker. HC has number 11 Williams I believe, that kid is tough. Should be an interesting match up.
