Eagle_Pride!!

Prayers for Coach & his family..May GOD comfort you!!

I had the same gut feeling..and to stir the pot, mccracken county athletic director personally sent mike rodgers a text on the day we announced his resignation at tilghman and he said " your a heck of a coach and we would be happy to have you at mccracken county!..if I was handling this situation here is how I would proceed... 1) shawn had to be interested in the Georgia job in order to be considered. 2) you can't expect th3 players to fully trust and buy into a coach that they are not sure will be around in a few years.. 3) shawns resume shows he jumps from town to town, team to team...that speaks alot in itself.. 4) would personally love to see the mike rodgers Era at mccracken co!!!

Best of luck! Hope to see PT return to dominance! ;-)

With all do respect, I would love to see tilghman return to glory.. Tilghman does in fact have tons of speed..i just hope all the components combine for success..one question if any of the tornado faithful know..what style defense is tilghman considering??.rodgers did use a 3-3-5, 4-3-4, & 4-2-5 zone...and everyone plz understand I'm not against PT at all, I just wish they could get it all figured out and compete the way tilghman did in the past!!..

Front what I'm understanding, their offense with be somewhat similar to that of mayfield..Tony franklin style!

I personally care, Mike is a huge loss for PT..i think ya'll will see that sooner then later..I personally see PT starting 0-4...don't think they can hang with mccracken with this being the 1st year implementing the hybrid spread, central hardin will tear them up, mayfield will destroy them, and graves will have possibly the best team sense the 2014 state runner up..so arguably 0-4 is the honest and most accurate guess at this point!

BEST OF LUCK TO PT!!!

Legacy bowl Mayfield, ky (war memorial stadium) Day 1: Mayfield vs Bowling Green Belfry vs Pulaski co. Day 2: Highlands vs Owensboro Caldwell vs. Desales

I know it won't happen, but would love to see rodgers return & lead the dragons one more time!

Eagle pride runs state wide!! Proud of these guys & looking forward to a great season..expecting great things from these young men!

Hopkinsville has the potential to be very successful in 2016..very fast & fundimentally good...they just have to take it one game at a time..their first game is graves county...can't sleep on them!

Ok thanxs!

1) Russellville 2) Paintsville 3)Pikeville 4)Hazard 5)Raceland

Plz correct me if I'm wrong, but does franklin simpson open the season up against graves county??..

Let me clarify something...mike rodgers left tilghman because of one reason & one reason only (randy wyatt)...this man ruined the football program before & will surely do it again if given the chance..his only success was because of larry shanks & heck he turned his back on him too..so, I wish the best for PT, but with wyatt on anyone's staff ur asking for destruction..mic drop!

Elliott tease as the OC will be interesting to watch..the guy is a terrific play-caller...any idea on the defensive coordinator..?

As a beloved cardinal fan, I will rate the 2015 team/season as a A+.. Reasons: they were in a so called rebuilding year yet still won it all..their defense literally played lights out against some amazing talented teams..the 2016 edition looks to be even bettet!

Graves county held their spring game last week.. 1) their qb (Ryan mathis) will be on of the best sophomore qb's in west ky..2) defense seems a little shaky right now but that's expected at the moment..3) offensively, I think graves will be fine..defense must keep us in the game..so overall, I would go out on a limb and say 7-3 regular season..8-3 overall losing in second round playoffs!

Regardless of the coaching staff in place at PT...u can never bet against the Mayfield Cardinals..sayings PT can hang with mayfield is very ironic..like comparing apples to oranges lol.

This potential coaching staff seems a little pathetic to me..1st) barber has been at multiple coaching spots with limited success..2nd) Wyatt is in no form a capable football coach, must less a coordinator..his offenses struggled terribly & his only success should be credited to Mr. LARRY SHANKS..3) regardless of who u put in charge of a program, u must set a high standard for the kids, and I feel tilghman is taking steps toward the past, which ultimately wasn't successful..i will say it first, they make a hell of a mistake letting rodgers leave the program..

Mike rodgers

Just asking..u never know now days lol..does anyone know what type of offense/defense barber has ran/used in his past coaching history?

I understand that randy won a state title, but in all seriousness, Larry shanks as the defensive coordinator won that title for PT..but no, I do not see randy having anything to do with this new staff..could Thomas possibly leave Campbellsville to come back to PT as an assistant? ?

PT will hold a press conference tuesday afternoon at 1pm..Barber will be formally introduced then.. He is a former ky mr. Football, has coached at 7 different schools (colleges) and is a 1988 PT alum..

Does anyone know the possible offense formation or defensive style that barber is considering at PT??..
