Some of the Boyle/Anderson kids are buddies. We have 2 able bodied replacements that have stepped in nicely. And we can still throw it if need be. I heard #1 for ACMS got hurt...hope the kid is okay and can play tomorrow night.

I know them and have heard that but football is his first love, I doubt he's done forever but I wouldn't be surprised if he took off next year. If he plays again I'm thinking he'll only play offense...maybe WR. He is a great kid and they're an awesome family. They just want to be careful. Time will tell.

Us too...Smith for Boyle has been out for a month.

Would love to have seen Boyle Co and Belfry 8th grade teams play this year.

I can assure you...Boyle ain't scared. If all your team can do is run, I like our chances.

This is what I was kinda saying. Boyle Co is built every year to stop the run. They are disciplined and hit...hard. It's the pass that beats us.

The anti-LexCath doesn't worry me on offense...Boyle has done a great job at stoping the run. It's our pass D that is suspect. It sounds to me like a Boyle Co vs Central game would be lots of fun. Can't wait!

IMO one team can beat Boyle Co and that's LexCath because of athletes and a particular style of play. Not really sure Central can do what LC can do to BC...but admittedly I don't know them like I do LexCath.

Central goes out in round 2. Mark it down.

Boyle Co High School girls soccer is hosting a state tourney game so BCMS football moved to Thursday @ 6:30.

Should be a much better game, Anderson has improved a lot since the first time. Some of the Anderson and Boyle kids are buddies...good kids on both sides. Thursday's weather looks like partly sunny and around 60 degrees at kickoff.

Woodlawn Elementary (Boyle Co) 5/6 finished the season 11-0 by beating a tough Clark Co team 32-13 in Winchester today. Great season Colts!

Anderson Co MS beat 2 seed East Jessamine MS (44-20) and will travel to BCHS turf Tues 10/27 for a showdown vs Boyle Co MS.

It was a strong performance. Go Eagles!

I didn't say it isn't beneficial, I said it has no bearing on what to expect later in varsity. Some schools play juniors in JV while others might have freshmen/sophomore only playing varsity. Freshmen/JV games (like some have mentioned) are only for getting reps.

Turnovers and #3 won the game for LexCath. The rematch will be a blast.

Freshman/JV wins mean crap at Varsity level.

N Pulaski has a great group of 8th graders...wish we could have played you in football this season. Maybe we'll get the chance to meet in basketball. I know Reese plays AAU ball with those boys.

Our middle school girls ball is either done or very close to being done.

I believe what was said was the you cannot determine what is going to happen at varsity level based upon what happened previously at the JV level. And I agree totally.

Boyle Co is good at 6-7 and very good in 8 grade which will be full strength this year for the first time since 5th grade. Got one of the best players in the state in Reese Smith back from injury. Should be fun.
