I think everyone in the area knew adair’s Talent had run out and they were looking at some lean times. I was advocating for Green Co to get them back on the schedule for that very reason. You are right, they are a local rival. It’s not as much that game I have a problem with as it is hart co and barren co. They get nothing out of those games and imo they needed to challenge themselves to be ready for the playoffs.

First challenge of any kind for Taylor Co. If they are a top the 4a team, they made a mistake scheduling hart and Adair to open the season (still have Barren County later in the year)

There will be five regional contests every week. You will have a chance to pick the winners in each region -- NKY, EKY, Lexington/Central KY, Louisville, and WKY. Each region will have five games to pick from each week. We pick the games, and you will pick the winner of each game, assigning your picks a point value of 7-5-3-2-1. The first tiebreaker is picking the team (of the ten teams in the contest) that scores the most points. You don't have to pick the highest scoring team, you just have to pick a team that scores more points than the team(s) picked by the member(s) you are tied with. The second tiebreaker is time. This is a season long contest and you can enter in any or all regions that you wish. At the end of the regular season, the top two finishers in each region will compete during the playoffs for statewide bragging rights on Bluegrasspreps. If a contestant qualifies in more than one region, then the highest point total statewide from a non-qualifying contestant will advance as a Wild Card. The best part is, if you win a weekly contest, you will receive a quality prize. The deadline for all entries is 5:00pm EST Friday.
