One transfered to Fairview before the year started. One transfered to Ironton St. Joe and the other 2 transfered to Fairview all during this basketball season.

4 Ashland basketball players have transfered over the past year, 3 this basketball season with the latest coming yesterday. There is talk of a couple more to leave the program before the school year is out. What's going on.

Boyd Co. 36 Ashland 30 Half Ashland had it within 2 twice. Good game so far. Kinser is too much for Ashland.

The teams have split games, each winning at their place. Ashland hosts the Lions this evening with Boyd hammering the Tomcats there last time out. Thoughts and predictions...

I love that Tate Dowdy from Ashland made it as a wide receiver. Congrats to all of the players, especially the ones from Ashland, Johnson Central, and Belfry.

Good win for the Cats. I thought this would be a blowout the other way. Knowing 2-3 starters out for Mason obviously made it a bit easier for the win. However, it is a good win. I thought Hudson and Adkins gave the team a good spark when they got in. Hudson played a heck of a game and made 2 key free throws late in the game. Pretty good for a freshman playing in his first varsity game.

This was just an ugly game to watch, on both sides.

Ashland won the first meeting during the AIT by 4. What are your thoughts and predictions?

Ashland lead by as much as 18. Boyd had a good effort at a come back, but dug themselves too deep early.

I saw it live, and thought it was a charge. After seeing the video, it just confirmed what I already knew. And I despise Boyd Co. As well, the kid made the basket. It was a charge though.

Missed free throws and lack of defense hurts. Happy they won, tough game tomorrow vs Boyd. Should be interesting.

They are just not playing well. Could have, and probably should have beat a few teams so far. It just doesn't look like there're into the games. One parent said that the coach is always on them. I've listened to a number of games. Seems like a lack of hustle. As a coach, when a team wins, the kids get all the credit. When you loose, it's the coaches fault. That's not what I've heard. The coach always seems to blame the players. Today, Dicky said only 3 starters scored and one of them only had 4 points. They got beat by 19 tonight by a Louisville DeSales team that they probably could have beaten.

Oh my! That is staggering. What a career; I look forward to seeing what he does on Saturdays. Great accomplishments.
