Dont know any other game with that dramatic of a finish, let alone a TD with zero seconds left. Does anyone know about a game ending like that in KY history?

You forgot to put Male and Trinity in that list. Me I'd say CovCath (I'm biased), Male or Trinity and JC as the top 3. Excellent top 10 selection for sure and way better than last year imo. Edit: Didn't read the part where you said "games so far".

They also have 12 wins. Evens out I guess.

The scrum was still moving forward I think thats why they didn't blow the whisle. Still a heartbreaking loss but this win certainly makes up for that imo. Casey McGinnis was awesome last year btw. South Warren was just a monster team.

I wouldn't say ever again, I mean maybe in like 25 years. But yeah I get what you're saying. That guy is the best athlete in school history for sure.

Was rooting for Somerset to get their first because I assumed they had none. Thought this was their year.

How many championships do each team have?

CovCath is now ranked 38 in the nation according to CalPreps. That's the highest I've ever seen them ranked in anything. It's all because of La Salle's success after we beat them.

I wish I could change my vote to JC in a surprise upset. They've been overlooked. JC played a slightly tougher schedule and dominated just as much. What sells me is their impressive 37 point win vs Belfry. Boyle County is impressive to me because they completely shut down Beau Allen twice, something CovCath was unable to do. But the toughest teams they've played was Highlands and Central. It's infortunate only one team will go down as champs because both teams have been more than remarkable this year. Give me JC 24-17.

Looks like they've got some cleaning to do before they even consider having a state run this year.

He looks like he got in but just barely. The apex of his progress looked to be an inch over the goal line before being pushed back. Extremely close but he got it imo.

CovCath has spent the entire year waiting to redeem themselves from the crushing loss last year. If they lose it will be especially demoralizing for them. I don't think they will lose, but if they do at least I can say for sure that CovCath's run still wouldn't be over because next year they'll be great even without Mayer because they'll have Caleb Jacob, Reardon, Nally and much of the Oline as seniors.

I could see that happening if CovCath came into Kroger Field and just straight up forgot how to play football.

Both teams have had special seasons. Too bad only one of them will win. Any other year I'd take this Johnson Central team.

A field goal would have virtually ended the game imo.
