Seen the same here. I've been to games in the 8th, 9th & 10th

They must have all picked the same night to have an off night then. Sometimes the guys in stripes have to adjust as well. They may have had a "plan" in place to control a game maybe they felt might get out of hand, but in turn added to it. Adjustments need to be made in 3 locker rooms at halftime, it didn't happen in 1 Friday night.

I just find it insulting to the kids for any team who are on the floor busting their butts for our enjoyment to jump to the conclusion they don't play defense because the scores are high. If teams didn't play defense there wouldn't be so many fouls & FTs, right? I haven't seen anyone play "lockdown" D on the high school level in a long time. It might be just me, but I'd rather see teams get up & down the floor putting up points than see 40 points by winning team.

So I'm guessing you feel the same about Pendleton, GRC & Harrison then?

This used to be one I clear my schedule to see. But not this year. SK 20+

H I was at PC game and imo he did struggle from the field and ended up with 35. By getting to the basket and to the line. He seems to have grown & added some weight as well. Took contact and finished. It's a safe bet those "16 deuces" were from inside 8-10 feet, if not closer from what I saw at PC

The ball didn't hit the ref. This was a bad T, imo. #30 for SK was called for the foul on #2s shot attempt. Both he & #2 for Mason fell back in opposite directions. #2 for Mason on the right side of the lane, imo, was just tipping the ball towards the ref the left side of the lane on the baseline & #30 walked into it. Outside official opposite scorers table called the T. The only reason I felt it was a bad call was #2 didn't appear mad before tipping the ball away. And #30 didn't get upset after getting hit. Both were caught off guard by 2nd whistle. I was sitting on SKs side & those around me thought it was a bad call on the T.

Made the trip. Expected a better game. Inexperienced Mason team. Will struggle early. SK is solid.

Ok. I've been wrong before, I'm sure I'll be wrong again. Seemed like he was 1 of 2 a lot. I'm surprised he only shot 18 FTs. Has a knack for getting to the line.
