A towel is a bomb? Interesting If you're implying the F-bomb, I was way closer to Ohmer than the official who called the T & didn't hear it.

This happens a lot when a coach didn't really earn the T. Have seen it several times this year in 8, 9, & 10 region. Ref compounds bad call with a T. They'll give coach leeway in allowing him to stand for the majority of the time. Also see a few coaches earn the T & be reminded to stay seated

Then how can you comment on this? You have no perspective of the game or the situation the technical was called. The ref that called the foul, did not call the T. The ref that called the T had to be looking for it, as stated he was 60+ feet from where Ohmer was at the time of the T.

Someone has to take "charge". Imo, the guy behind the baseline in tonight's game had the best view. He had clear line of sight on both players. He had the block The official with the charge call was looking at Ohmers back. Again, it's impossible for it to be both. The Blarge is just a bailout call for the officials. It was a silly foul on his part knowing he had 4. I have no issues with that call. My problem is the T. The official was looking for it from 60+ feet away. There was a jump ball call & a player tonight said to an official 3-5 feet from him "that's horrible" & ran away from official with ball. Where's the T there?

It's got to be one or the other. Tonight it was on a drive to the basket (would have been "and 1" if block). Baseline official had a block, he clearly had best view of the defender. I'd write the rule with "whiteout". The Blarge needs to go

One ref calls a block; one calls a charge Ends up a double foul & they go to the possession arrow for the ball. It's sad this is even an actual call that is allowed in a game

Disagree all you want. I've seen worse this year & in this game. Didn't show anyone up, unlike others. Threw a towel down at his feet off the floor & picked it up. Terrible call from 60+ feet

Terrible technical foul call. Ref was looking too much for it. Others deserved one in this game more than that

@40391 Montgomery County played without a player. It's not like you just add his average to the final score & that would have been the outcome. Someone filled in & scored points missing player would have. Add in missing player & points are deducted from someone else. Not saying it would or wouldn't have made a difference, haven't seen the missing player play.

Pretty sure no one is calling you selfish, unless of course you are the 40th district, which would be a whole new thread. Common sense says the region should be held where it is beneficial ($$$) to everyone + centrally located as possible. Figures & geography show that isn't Montgomery County. I'm up in the north end of the 10th & I don't think games should be played up here either. I'll catch games at 3 different regions each year (8, 9 & 10). Like tonight, Montgomery County is at Scott. Who scheduled that for a Tuesday night? Maybe that's what "fit" everyones schedule, but this game should be a Friday or Saturday night game. They are Student/Athletes right?

Someone had to add some levity. Some take this too serious & too far. I love this time of year. Multiple high school games at the holiday tournaments & plenty of college games on the tv
