  1. My point wasn't as much SOS as it was the fact that they've lost 9 games in a year when basketball is down. Last year's Mason County team would beat this Polar Bear team with Hinson by 20+.
  2. If you go off of stats it's Bailey Cummins. If you go off of the player that does the most all around but doesn't get the points you could argue Jordan Frodge, Taylor Clos, Whitney O'Mara, Kylie Krammer or even Maddie Boone.
  3. This years Bracken Co team is 13-9 in a year where the 10th Region is very down and the Polar Bears have not played a very difficult schedule and most of the games they have played good teams have been played at the Igloo. In 2012-2013 Bach's Augusta team lost 11 games the whole season with 21 wins in a year that the 10th was very good. So how do you compare the two? I agree, that Brooksville kool-aid is just as bad as the Maysville water that you guys were talking about earlier in the year.
  4. The poll results here are really interesting. Mason has 10 votes with only 3 of them being from MC BGP members. Bracken has 10 with almost all being BC BGP members. Augusta with 7 votes and St. Pat with one vote. Very interesting.
  5. Lady Royals head to Lexington Tuesday night for a showdown with Henry Clay. Thoughts and Predictions?
  6. ^^^^ I think you're correct. Jaylen Lofton would make a big difference on that team.
  7. Yeah you're gonna get 32 when you're shooting almost every single possession. If you even attended the game you'd know Williams had at least 5 blocks and several steals while guarding Crawford, but it's not like he was guarding him every single time either, there would be multiple screens to where another MC player switched onto him.
  8. We actually agree on something, glad I'm not the only one who's tired of hearing it.
  9. Is it possible to just get this whole thread deleted?
  10. I've known all along, just never mentioned it because I figured all the Bracken and Augusta people wouldn't jump down my throat.
  11. Maddox started playing at Fleming. Crawford was at St. Pat Snapp was at Bracken Not sure about the others, those were just the 3 I remember from elementary AAU days.
  12. Once upon a time it would've been the Fieldhouse and wouldn't even be close.
  13. GRC lost a tough one to Mason Co last night which didn't end till around 9:30, Augusta had a fairly easy win last night vs West Carter. So fatigue may have been an issue in this one for the Cardinals. None the less good win and a heck of a way to close out the game for the Augusta Panthers, two solid wins this week with Brossart and Clark.
  14. Brossart did beat Pendleton. Bracken beat Brossart and I consider them to be a team that wants to run and get Austin Crawford in transition and ahead of the defense as much as possible. Or the one game I watched them that's how it appeared.
  15. I never said there was anything wrong with it, you gotta do what you gotta do to win ball games, which Mike Code has been doing. Just makes it boring for those watching it.
  16. I'm not sure Paris has the discipline to win the 10th, they sorta proved that to me in the All-A (not taking anything away from BB) but I'm just not sure they can keep their heads in it for 3 straight games at that level. It all should come down to Montgomery, Campbell and Mason. If Mason gets past Bracken and doesn't get an awful draw at Region then I can see them making it to the championship game even with their inexperience I feel like the guards and Sweeney will carry them there. ^^^^Just going off the performance they had this evening at GRC. Montgomery and Campbell are the front runners IMO, they're both talented, disciplined, and experienced which is key come tournament time. The thing that knocks Brossart down for me would be experience and the fact that taking the air out of the ball doesn't exactly work that well come March. At the end of the day the draw will be critical this year.
  17. Woah, oh my goodness. They must've let a little anger out tonight.
  18. Glad I made the trip to GRC tonight, thought both teams played pretty well. Sweeney saved our tails tonight, P. Williams and Garrison couldn't get into much rhythm offensively so props to GRC for making someone other than the guards beat them. I was shocked to see GRC stick to their 1-2-2 zone defense considering Sweeney kept killing them with the midrange jumper or getting to the block for layups. Guess sometimes you just have to pick your poison. When MC is making their jumpers they're a really really tough team to defend.
  19. Uhhhh Mason/Campbell won't be a cake walk. Especially with it being a 6:30 game and an hour from Maysville or just a walk for Lady Camel fans.
  20. That was quite the game, we had the best seat in the house!
  21. Harrison Co helped them out quite a bit last year too. :puke:
  22. Feel like the 10th got a pretty solid draw, avoided all of the Louisville schools and Mercer Co would be the only team ranked above Mason/Campbell.
  23. Mason County made a girls coaching change because of her teaching position, not her coaching position. She chose to leave after being cut as a teacher.
