I thought BC wanted seeding, so even though it was a draw, they came out better than if it had been seeded - #4 BC has #3 St. Patrick instead of being matched with #1 Mason County.

BC got the draw it wanted. Now it all gets decided on the court.

That is really something though if you think about it. Next year, if math is correct, everyone on the Bracken County team will not have even been born yet the last time the Bears beat Mason County.

About this time next year, will there be a ceremony at mid-court before the Mason-Bracken game marking the 20th anniversary of da Bears' last win in the series?

Was just about to say the same. Ref wanted to get the $$ as quickly as he/she could and get out of there or on to the next game and that $$. Meanwhile, what is up with the middle school leagues and the referees always having some attachment to either the school that is hosting the games and/or one of the teams playing? Please don't say it's my imagination when I see the team with the connection getting most of the calls. Have been watching it for years now.
