Brossart with the easy road win. No other details on this one, taken from the scoreboard.

Brossart up 47-19 at half. Augusta went on a nice run in Q3 . Mustang is probably still on the bus. I’m sure he will post a recap sometime mid morning.

Hamberg 5-6 from behind the arc

JD Schumaker 23 points.

Were you in the house for this one? Thought I saw on Mustang's web site that you were now the CBU color man.

Eilerman is going to be a nice player for the Mustangs over the next two seasons.

Actually still thawing out from the bus ride back up the AA Highway.

Mustangs could not have realistically shot the ball any better in the first half, connecting on 62% of our attempts from the field.

Senior Zach Hamberg took an immediate liking to the Panther Pit, hitting on 3 of 4 3-point attempts en-route to a five 3-pointer night and a 17 point overall performance.

J.D. Schumacher put up a career high 23 points, and the Sophomore Ethan Eilerman netted 8.

The Mustangs led 21-9, 47-19, 64-34, and 74-52.

The Mustangs threatened to send the contest to a running clock, leading 66-34 early in the fourth quarter, but the Panthers would have nothing of it, going on a 10-0 run to regain some semblance of respectability at 66-44 and went on to win the fourth quarter 18-10.

With the win the Mustangs improve to 12-9 and will head down US27 on Thursday night to challenge Donataie Allen and the Pendleton County Wildcats in a tripleheader, beginning at 4:30pm.

TACs Christian Brothers gig was a one-time thing, however, he will be back in the CBU booth again on Saturday night for a Bucs broadcast.

TAC commutes between the Brossart booth, where he will be doing the Brossart-Pendleton County game on Thursday night and Memphis to watch his son compete for CBU.

Thanks for the update.

^^I short-changed Brossart Freshman Carson Schirmer a pair of free-throws in the box score.
