Why is the ball what the KHSAA mandates? Could they mandate uniforms? Helmets? Cleats? As long as a the ball is regulation size, why should the KHSAA dictate what brand is ok?

Loss to Lafayette tells you everything you need to know about their program. Until they beat a major 6a player or make it to a state final, nobody will take them seriously outside of their region. (B-)

Anyone know why this hire is taking so long? If the delay is without a good reason, seems like the school is sending a clear message that they don't care about football.

Lexington public schools lack HUGE advantages that schools like St. X, Trinity, Male, BG have in spades. Saying they should have won more due to their talent is misleading. It takes massive talent to make up for the gaps in other areas (funding, commitment of players, feeder systems, coaches in schools, admin support, district support, facilities, etc).

You make it to a state championship, you get an A. Simple.

State Championship = A. End of discussion. The goal is to win state. There are no bad loses to St. X unless you are Trinity.

Exciting to hear that we're starting to develop our WR's. That's been an issue in need of correcting.

Principal not in on the interviews? Seems strange - not surprising based on poor hiring process.

One school county. Either willing to do what it takes to win or not. They are not. Not their fault? Seems like a strange statement.

Examine why coaches turned it down. Owen not willing to do what is needed.

Owen County should be ashamed of how this search was conducted. Very unprofessional. I have several friends with kids on the team. The quality candidates were there. Says something that the school could not close the deal with any of them.
