Even though they won their region? What's going on there?

All I know is Jordan Perry won EKC conference player of the year award. Beating out Ryan Callahan of Rowan county. Someone else must think he was the best player of those 8 teams in the EKC. For someone averaging over 26 points per game he sure must do a lot of cherry picking. Redparth is a great player and can do it all. Glad to have him on our team.

Maybe Morgan wins by 15. If Elliott gets down like they did against Boyd and Rowan there isn't no coming back this time. Perry will be the best player on the floor again tomorrow night and he will refuse to let them lose. Can't wait til tomorrow night. I love the rivalry.

Elliott co comes in at 21-7 and Morgan co 22-5. 5th meeting this year with Elliott county winning 3 of the 4. Elliott has had a much tougher road to get to the championship having beaten Boyd and by most people's pick Rowan to get here. Both times they were down by double digits, as they were versus Morgan co in the district championship. Which took two overtimes to decide. Morgan co has won 11 games in a row, but let both the Ashland game and Raceland game be closer games than they should have been by trying to hold the ball in the 4th quarter. Elliott's guards played great versus the press of Rowan county and Morgan will try to press also. I feel like the keys for Elliott to win are for Spencer to be a factor by driving and drawing fouls. Either Holbrook or Howell to dominate the rebounding battle. And for the Griffith twins to knock down some open 3's. If Elliott can do 2 of those 3 things successful I think they win. I think the key for Morgan is for either Ryan Adams to make some open 3's. Michael Prater to stay on the floor and not get in foul trouble allowing him to drive and score. And for Perry and Redparth to play their normal game. Hard to slow Perry down in transition, but if Elliott can not allow him to get easy baskets on fast breaks they have a better chance of winning. With all of that being said I'm taking my Cougars to cut down the nets and go to Rupp with a 56 to 54 victory. Good luck to both teams Thursday. It has been a pleasure to watch all 4 battles so far this year, and I know it is going to be a knockdown drag out brawl til the final buzzer sounds.

Since Raceland won I'm sure they will do all they can to slow Perry down. He went for 25 the last they played them. Should be a close game tomorrow night. And as long Adams, Prater or Redparth step up for Morgan as they have been Raceland will have their hands full with Morgan's athletic team. Raceland has some athletic kids too and it is a great matchup. But I'll take Morgan to win 59-54.

This game never got closer than 7 points after the 1st quarter. Morgan lead by as many as 15 or so. Villers drew so many fouls driving down the lane. And Miller played well for Ashland. He is a hoss cat down low. Ryan Adams played well for Morgan. He had 14 to lead Morgan. Morgan made 11 out of 14 free throws in the last 2 minutes. Jordan Perry finished with 13 points. Not sure how many shot attempts he had but I'm guessing it was less than 10.

Nick Miller being back for Ashland will help, but he's only averaging 8.5 ppg in his 4 games back. Ashland will have to have a big big night from Villers from 3 pt land to keep this one close. I think Jordan Perry has a great game here and Morgan wins 70 to 58.

I think Connor Messer and Jacob Blair are too much for Wilder Williams and Fleming county to handle. Raceland has too many athletes for Fleming to contend with. I'll take Raceland to win 63 to 50.

I'll take Lafayette by 5. Should be a good game.

It has nothing to do with Morgan. Ashland, Raceland and Fleming county are all in that bracket. Those 3 teams you mentioned got the draw they got. Doesn't matter I guess when they play.

Playing 3 games in 4 days is a little easier than playing 3 straight days. Don't you think? I do understand about the girls finals on Saturday. That makes sense.
