Semi finals of the All A

Hard to argue against that statement from his coach/dad. He's averaging nearly 29 ppg. And shooting over 46% from the field. And 5.7 rpg. So I'd say he's gonna be hard for anyone to stop from within the region.

Not sure who said that, but he's playing very well right now.

Morgan being at home and Jordan Perry has been playing at a different level the last few games. I like Morgan at home 68-63. Morgan held Porter to 13 points in their last meeting. Elliott looking for revenge and will play all out I'm sure.

I think they will be the favorites going in. They have a dominate player in Williams and he's gonna be hard to handle for most teams.

With the exception of Lawrence co in the 15th and Cordia and Perry Central in the 14th the top 5 teams or so in the 16th can play and beat the other 14th and 15th teams. I don't think the 16th is a lot weaker than those two regions.

He played in the loss against Morgan and had 13 points. Also played against Rowan in the loss and had 21, but he did not play against Lewis in their loss.

Any stats from either team?

Big rematch with Elliott county on Tuesday in round 2 of the All A from West Liberty. Should be another good game. Morgan 13-4 and winners of 6 in a row and Elliott co comes in at 12-4 and have lost 3 out of their last 4.

Definitely so. I hear VMI has offered. I'm sure more to come in the future.

Congrats to this fine young man on reaching his 3000th point tonight versus East Carter. With 12 regular season games plus All A, districts, and regions Jordan should be Kentucky's 5th all time leading scorer in Kentucky boys history. He was averaging 28.9 ppg coming into tonight's game. Tying him for tops in the state with two other players. If he keeps that pace up or somewhere remotely close to that he will easily finish as #5 all time, passing another 16th region great player in Elliott county's Jonathan Ferguson.

A very Perry night: Morgan topples Elliott - Sports - The Independent Online

Morgan actually led by 16 at one point in the 3rd quarter before Elliott made a great comeback and took the lead by 1 in the 4th. Then Jordan Perry took over. He made clutch free throws down the stretch and played great defense all game in holding Porter to 14 pts. 6 below his season average. Game could have went either way. For a freshman Korbin Spencer is really good. Very hard to guard off the dribble.

Things just keep getting more interesting with East beating West and Morgan beating Elliott.

For Elliott County, Korbin Spencer had 22, 14 for Chase Porter, Howell with 13. For Morgan Jordan Perry with 35 points and Najeh Banks with 15 Morgan hit 17 of 20 ft's in the game. For Morgan County starter Ryan Adams a 6"4 forward did not play due to his ankle. Big win for the Cougars. Elliott drops to 11-2 and suffers their first lost in the region. Morgan improves to 11-4.

I'll take Elliott by 8. Too much Korbin Spencer and Chase Porter for West to handle. West Carter's size may give Elliott some trouble but I think Elliott is just playing too well right now to go against them.
