Palmer and Friehofer are two totally different players with different roles. Palmer is the taller of the two and typically works from free throw line in, Friehofer more of a guard and better overall shooter. If Palmer continues to work on her ballhandling and shooting she could be a really good guard someday, especially with her length.

@Shooter2002- I see a St Henry - Cov Cath final.. if either team loses it would be a upset, could be a great rematch from earlier this year!!

I’m not 100% positive, but I believe first round winners are Conner, Holmes and Boone - I’m not sure about St Henry game, I believe they may play Dixie tomorrow night and I’m also uncertain if Holmes victory over Highland this week was regular season or JV tournament..

How did 6,7 & 8th go in the Turkeyfoot- Bally matchup tonight?

Both teams had everyone - First time they played Conner didn’t have everyone- Good win for Conner- Bally probably wins this game 8 out of 10..

Couple of good games in 7th grade girls action last night- Turkeyfoot over Twenhofel- Two deep teams Conner over Bally- Snapping Bally/Camp Ernst 2 year win streak.

Wow, impressive victory for SS- Keep grinding Highlands will likely have another shot at them tonight.

I totally agree with both of you.. If Highlands plays their game (fast) and makes a few shots they should win this game, if SS controls is able to slow it down it could be long evening for Highlands. I just think skill ultimately comes out on top in this one. Regardless of what happens what a great opportunity for both teams to play a game like this midseason. Wish them both luck..

Beechwood Over Woodland by 2 in a defensive outing.. woodland plays St Thomas in 15 minutes -

I have watched a group play both these teams and in my opinion, if Highlands shoots well this game won’t be close - SS has some nice big players but really struggle in transition game- if SS controls speed of game it will be good game if highlands plays their game It will be a 10 point win plus-

Woodland plays Beechwood in upper portion. St Thomas beat Conner by 2- They will face loser of game above.

8th grade boys- Woodland over Dayton- approx 25 Beechwood over Conner- 15

I heard that 6th grade TF is very solid and played a very good game with multiple Players to keep an eye on down the road- In 7th grade- i heard this also was a very good game one of which TF should’ve won or easily could’ve won- with that said I did hear that the Colts best player was in foul trouble early and most of game and was a near non factor- I think both teams should be will represented in the year end tourney only to be looking up at Eventual champion (Ballyshannon)!!

I have watched both teams play a lot - i don’t see how woodland even keeps this game close but I’m rooting otherwise - the more physical the game the better chance woodland has!!

I understand SH won both Fresh and JV.. any standouts in either game?

Woodland 8th over Ockerman by 6 or 8. Holmes 8th over Conner by 2.

8th Bally carried over everyone but one or two- neither of which major contributors - could be a very physical game which would favor the size and length of Bally- should by a really good game if not treated like a scrimmage-
