Any updates from last night? I was going to try to go to the St. Henry vs. Beechwood game but never made it out there.

6th grade IHM of Cincinnait put up 80 points on Beechwood. They were quite impressive to watch. Very talented looking team that work well together.

Beechwood routs St. Pius to advance to next week's 2nd round game against the winner of St. Agnes/OLV.

Lopsided. Beechwood blew them out. Maybe by 20? It could have been whatever. Beechwood ran them and the big for St. Joe couldn't keep up and had to sit alot. I only half way paid attention but it really wasn't much of a game.

I thought St. Pius would get BSS. It was the fifth game they played against each other this year and with such an intense rivalry and competitive teams it is tough to get the sweep. BSS hit some threes and played unselfishly. That won it for them. One of the Pius kids got a technical for mouthing the ref. That was the second of the year for that kid.
