Conner can't play tonight so this was a great gesture by Ludlow. But why does NDA reschedule the Conner home game for tomorrow and have another home game Saturday that could have been senior night. But again what a great gesture by Ludlow probably not knowing this

I find it interesting then as to why we saw way way more NDA parents and players showing respect to the HC staff including Kes than their own coaches after the game. We saw a good 5-6 families approach him and shake his hand. Were these people that have known him for a while and that's why or what.

Agree but 19 is better than 5 pts. I think NDA hopes the long layoff is the reason for this performance, almost 11-12 days between games ? It looked obvious the more Martin struggled handling the ball and shooting to more Foust was pressing to get her going instead of getting others involved in the second half. Yes he did bench her for not passing the ball after the 2-3 mins of passing around and nothing being there. She actually did the right thing so I'm surprised when I was told that. Can't have your pg sitting 4-5 mins in first 10 of the second half. Especially after she had a very nice first half. He also benched miles for taking a shot and having it blocked. Not a great message to send when others are having really off nights. Hard to play with confidence when your thinking should I shoot this or not. Thought the NDA bigs needed more time in there as well. Davenport a nice player fluid and keeps them glued. Nothing fancy just plays. Take 5 or her all day long At the end of the night, this game means very little except exposes weakness. Time to work on them if you want to get better

Holmes came out on fire and NDA hung around after 1 down 4, 15-11. Lady Dawgs opened up a 27-11 lead at the half. So if the text are correct NDA didn't score in the 2nd qtr? could that be correct? NDA cut it to 5 with 5 mins left in the 4th and a either way call sent Holmes to the line and they hit both. Harris was deadly from the line down the stretch. NDA should leave feeling good about the 30 points scored in the second half and Holmes feeling good about the win.

I'm not a big fan of his but I saw them very friendly before the game and HHS coach works the refs all game long.(Mr. friendly) I did see NDA and HHS coach have some stares and looks and few words during the game. I would think it was NDA coach countering what HHS was trying to get from the refs. NDA coaches outcoached HHS in this game.

NDA showed a blueprint on how to help on Leigh even with their center on the bench. Rennekamp and Miles were very good down low. Why NDA doesn't play Gribben, Miles and Rennekamp at the same time is intriguing. Miles can rebound and is a very nice shooter from anywhere. Not a knock on Baugh or #5 but I would like to see those 3 on the court at the same time. Sitting near a high school coach watching last night, he said the same thing. Actually said glad they don't. I thought about Hagen, Martin, Miles, Rennekamp and Gribben with Baugh and #5 (Zimmerman?) I have seen a lot of girls games this year and they would match up with anyone. It would be interesting to see Miles at the 3 some and Rennekamp at the 4. I am assuming Miles was at the 4 because who she came in for. What HHS can take away from this game is they lack nastiness. NDA has a lot of it especially with the guards. I see the swag from Coffey and to me an outsider looking in she needs to be the leader for the birds.

The comments are dead on. HHS is so deep and just need to figure out to rotate all that talent and let players get in the flow of the game. NDA Martins battery is crazy. She made some great defensive plays late in the game and works so hard on offense. She is a fun player to watch. Hagen was the difference tonight. I know she was playing with a chip on her shoulder tonight, but she controlled the game from scoring to dishing to handling the press and crowd. BTW for a girls game in early January what a crowd and hostile environment. Was great to see.
