Highlands and Moeller squared off in a pitchers duel today. Nick Bennett and Ricky Raisor both pitched very well. There were at least 8 or 9 pro scouts checking the action out. Bennett is straight nasty!! Lefty that brings it in the low 90's with exceptional secondary pitches. He pitched a complete game with 11 strikeouts. Raisor pitched a great game only giving up 2 earned.

Bennett is a special arm. Kept track of the Midland team he was on, turns out he no hit the Ohio Warhawks (top 10 team in country) and held the East Cobb Yankees to 2 runs in 6 innings (number 1 team in country according to perfect game). Expect to hear his name a lot next year as a cardinal.

Better chance he is a Cardinal or playing minor league ball? Never seen him pitch, but I imagine he will hear his name pretty early in the draft.
