Sorry but the 3 I mentioned can't be replaced. Any one else, I am sure there are plenty of backups and JH not miss a beat. Key thing I see in JH is for them not to turn the ball over.

Well if it isn't #3,6 and 11 I still think it will be close.

Wow what a Friday game day. Temps in 80's 60's during game and rain holding off till we are home. Hope everyone makes it out to this game as well as the other games that are being played.

Did I hear right, this is JH's 10th straight year to regional final? Seems to me that last year JH might have been overlooking Shelby and this year, might have the paybacks are heck attitude.

Easy Hard Work, don't want to get them too fired up. This game to me appears to be a toss up. I think it is a pickem game with SC getting the advantage for being at home. Very good matchup with 2 very quality teams.

Should be a great one. I am thinking it will come down to the D that can get some stops. Both teams will need to take care of the football. Rain chances seem to be after midnight so that makes for some great football. Both teams have a great kicker so wind in The 4th will be a critical call. Listen, I love the 8th more than anyone but I just don't see any chance of anyone beside those top 2 winning the region. Really don't see anyone besides AC winning it. From 3 on down, it is anyone's guess who might come out as a dark horse they are all that even.

I will say this again. The 8th region belongs to Anderson this year. They are not only the best of the 8th, they are one of the best in state. Penny is player of the year by far and has a great cast around him. TJ Robinson from Shelby will be an all region player this year. He has a game but might not shine till the footballers are back to take some load off him. Will be interesting to watch Coach Gaither at Collins build a young team around Turner.

I think last year, from what my frozen mind remembered, was that the shelbys D really stepped up and made several big plays.

He is very smart with the football while directing the triple option. Same QB you faced last year just a year older and year better. He will run it when run is there. Throws the ball well. Very efficient with going into last week 65%. Has thrown for over 800 yards and 12 TD with only 1 INT. Their is no doubt Shelby will run the football but they will hurt you bad when least expecting the pass. They don't throw it just when the have to but at anytime.

Shelby also has plenty of speed. Let's start with the Collins game. The D played really well in getting 6 turnovers. Shelby turned it over twice themselves. Shelby just couldn't get the ball in the endzone. Collins would go 6/5 goal line and Shelby just couldn't do it. Took opening drive of 3rd for 7 minutes and just came up empty. Had a missed FG into a strong wind and short one blocked. With all that being said, they still put 24 on the board. Thing about Shelby and Collins, they know each other so much. So many adjustments to be made during these games. Wind was a factor for Shelby and the passing game was under par this week. QB thru only his 2nd INT for the year. Shelby doesn't throw it a lot but it is very efficient when doing so.

This will be a good one. FS again in a close one.

Dude get off JH'S sack. Hoss Shelby has everyone back except for Manica and Perry. QB and other skill returns. New Fullback has turned into a stud. D plays as a group. Shelby can score and has been playing pretty solid last part of season.

Been on mercer band wagon this year. Won the games they should and lost the ones they are suppose to. This is one of those try are suppose to. Rock 35-21
