Across all 6 classes, what team has the best chance for an upset in round 2? What games should be followed closely or will we see another series of blowouts much like round 1?Wondering what the thoughts of BGP was on this matter.

Is a 2 over a 1 an upset? Couple of 2's on the road who might be better than the 1's

I wouldn't necessarily consider a 2 over a 1 an upset. Some districts are tougher than others. You question hits at the heart of the this thread though. The BGP community has great insight on who the best teams truly are at this point and can factor dynamics such as injuries, home field, etc. Therefore this is somewhat of a poll as to what upsets might happen and what we should watch for in Round 2. Would John Hardin losing be an upset that has a decent chance of happening? Just using them as an example.

I would say that Greenwood has a good chance of upsetting Owensboro. At this stage, it would be considered an upset. About a month ago we all had the Gators as the favorite, but the tides of opinion have shifted it seems. Staying in 5A, I would also say Dixie Heights over Fern Creek would also be considered a slight upset, and I consider that to be very possible.

I hate to say this, but I continue to be worried about Glasgow. Not JUST Glasgow, but the idea that DeSales handled them VERY easily down there two years ago, and a rematch with CAL is waiting in the wings. I know the coaching staff is doing all they can to avoid a slip, but the dang game worries me!

As a Trinity fan, Male scares me more than anybody in 6A. They've had our number recently. Ultimately I think the Rocks are fine. But it's become a must see rivalry.
