Central lead 24-22 at half and took a 30-22 with 2 minutes to play in the 3rd before SC offense erupted and defense forced 2 INTs. Really nice QB for Madison Central. Cards have scored 172 points in 3 games and face off against Douglass freshmen a week from Saturday.

SC does not and has never run the option.

Cards go for 421 on the ground and 4 rushing touchdowns along with 71 in the air and another passing touchdown. Great Crossing 181 on the ground and 27 in the air, 2 interceptions. Ellis Huguely player of the game. 15 carries 161 yards 2 touchdowns, 1 catch for 28 yards and a touchdown.

You are right. A lot of explosive plays and 10 minute quarters as opposed to some teams choosing to play 8. Jayden Garrett had TD runs of 61, 48, and 52. Nick Ranson had a 56 yard TD and Anderson “Red” Owens went for 70. Combine that with #26 breaking away for Corbin for the first 2.5 quarters, made for a 9:45 finish on a 7pm kickoff. It was a great opener for our guys.

Corbin made the trip to Gtown for an absolute shootout. Talented Linemen and skill players on both teams. Scott County had 3 backs rush for multiple touchdowns and the QB had one as well. #26 for Corbin is at least just as good as the backs from SC, kid is electric.

Spirits are high in Georgetown with the departure of Frederick Douglass to 6A and the new high school / stadium / indoor facility under construction. This will be their last season without a home field (have not had home field since early 90's, played at Georgetown College until 2018 and Birds Nest Stadium on the campus of Great Crossing since 2019). Loads of talent returns for the Cards, but they do have some key positions to replace with younger/newer guys. Really damaged Bryan Station's defense last year before going out with a collar bone. This kid is hard to tackle and can go the distance any time. Look for him to burst onto the scene. LG #73 Cristian Rodriguez ('25) 5'11 240 - Nasty blocker. Extremely strong/athletic. 2 year starter. OT #68 Tyler Brown ('24) 6'4 270 - Moved in from Station Week 8. Nice addition to the OL. Athletic and experienced. DL #8 Jasante' Harmon - 48 total tackles, 12.5 TFL, 4.5 sacks in 2022. Hard to block. High Motor and extremely powerful. Offered by SEMO. FS #4 Paul Garner ('24) 5'11 175 - 2nd in 5A INTs in 2022. (5 INTs 60 tackles) Smart/Fast/Physical. Will be a 3 year starter. He’s decent for sure. Have seen a lot of both of them and Wasik is definitely better. IMO.

QB Hit List is awful. Has players in Top 25 that do not start at their high school. They rank a few of the obvious Q's, others pay subscriptions for their rankings. One of the most inaccurate media sources I have come across.

Last thought for now.... Boley obviously is the best QB in Lexington. Jackson Wasik at LC is 2nd and there is not a close 3rd. Extremely tough and talented kid who makes tremendous decisions. Elite accuracy and surprising arm strength, can hurt you with his legs as well.

Right hire could ensure that talent doesn't leave. Looking forward to another competitive Week 11 matchup.
