It probably won't be that high scoring you're right but sources from Moeller tell me LaSalle is much better on defense than Moeller but not as good on offense. I'll take the cards 35-24, We will certainly be able to move the ball and score some points.

Clean up the 2 early turnovers and Cards will outscore La Salle. I got the cards 49-38!

Hated to see SC fumble early and get themselves in 14-0 hole. Moeller is the real deal look for SC to make deep run in November!

Scott County will always be run heavy yes. Are they completely one dimensional? No. Quarterback Josh Davis extremely accurate and has an outstanding Wide Receiver Glenn Covington who is a deep threat and can go get the ball at any time. The key for the cards offense will be passing when they want to to keep Moeller honest and not when they need too. They will have to be able run and move the ball consistently to be able to pass. If Davis can complete 7 or 8 out of 11 or 12 attempts for around 130-150 yards combined with a solid rush attack they will have a chance. If Moeller gets SC in long yardage situations where they HAVE to pass, SC offense will struggle.

How bad is Dunbar?? Sheesh. Hope Lucas can continue to make Cards more competitive, it will be good for CKY football!

Highlands can beat Lex Cath

I appreciate you being a clear Highlands supporter and still backing your team as well as giving credit to us. Trust me, I was there in 2012 when Highlands threw the running clock on SC and sent them running out of Ft. Thomas 60 to 30 something. I have a great amount of respect for what the tradition and Highlands and have no doubt that at some point they will rise again.

Wrong here my friend. Lafayette extremely talented and SC won by 10 to a team they had lost too the previous 3 meetings. Interesting definition of struggled. Second team units were put into the game as soon as the running clock rule was enforced, they scored 71 points because they have a very good junior varsity and take JV football seriously.

This is completely ignorant. SC pulled their starters and continued to score 3 more times. All the score proves is that SC's JV is far beyond Highlands as well as their Varsity. No rational football fan who watched the game would it competitive. Other than the clock running out in their last possession SC scored EVERY OTHER TIME they had the ball as well as force 3 turnovers and hold Highlands to 20 points. The score of the game was very indicative of the level of each team. Your logic is extremely flawed, give credit where it is due. SC is running clock better that HHS on any field.

When has SC ever TRIED to be cute in anything they do? They are gonna run right at Highlands, match them up man and blitz them on D. Turning the ball over would not trying to be cute it would be not executing the offense right. Just didn't understand your lingo here. That being said I would like to see the same thing and believe SC could win big if they play a little cleaner than last week.

Quarterback #5 is not powerful but has some break away speed and very accurate arm to single receiver and play action. If you put another guy in the box and come out of two high he can really hurt you. #3 Fryman the RB is the work horse with speed and power, but the fullback #20 Barnett is damn near as good as he is. Highlands defense will have a hard time slowing them down, will have to find a way to score some points to stay in the game.

Guys- Connor is a good team yes, but if you think they can hang with SC at SC then you are delusional. Too many numbers and too much power for connor. SC will run wild on offense. 56-28 final, SC.

Hit the nail on the head here. There has been a misconception since this thing broke out that SC was "scared" -and chose not to play the game. After close to 2 hours of waiting on the lightning the administration and HC decided to send the kids home. Lafayette made no offer of neutral site until the day after. SC is certainly very capable of beating Lafayette and was backing down from nobody in my eyes. We could see a potential rematch in the Semifinals in Lexington if both teams get there.
