Moeller (OH) 38 Scott County 28

Featured Replies

Final.

Great game Scott county. By playoff time they are going to be very capable of winning a state championship. Any team that over looks them, does so at their own peril.

Scott County did much better than I expected. I will be happy to admit that I was wrong on this. I expected Moeller to hold them to 14 or less.

Does this mean Trinity isn't as much of a lock as some would have thought? Or was last week a bad showing by the Shamrocks?

Why don't you start a thread on that one, we should keep this thread to Moeller-SC results.

Impressed with Scott county

No.

Hated to see SC fumble early and get themselves in 14-0 hole. Moeller is the real deal look for SC to make deep run in November!

Very respectable showing for Scott County.

Looking at the yardage, possession, YPP....you'd think this was a game won by a FG. Almost 950 total yards in this one!

Not sure what the fuss is about Moeller - they finished 4-6 last year and are projected to be the #6 playoff seed in their region (not state).

Moeller is a good team but this is not the Moeller of yore...

You realize their region is without question the toughest in the state, right? Many times the two best teams in the state meet in the R4 final, with the winner taking state.

I'm quite familiar - Moeller won state championships in 2012 and 2013.

I also know that Moeller went 4-6 last year and 5-5 in 2015, and will likely finish 5-5 this year. They are not a regional let alone a state power this year, nor have they been for the last several years.

It is what it is.
