get your facts straight. Wagner (QB1) got knocked out of the Beechwood game late in CCH first drive. Dressman (QB2) went out on CCH last drive. Dressman played something like 8 games at QB last year so its not like he is a scrub. He beat Beechwood last year. McGinnis (QB3) replaced dressman on that last drive and scored via a 50 yd run on the first play he QB'd. Beechwood beat Cov Cath in a game they had nearly all their guys. Beechwood was also had missing/injured players for the game!

I think tonight is Beechwood's 8th game. They didn't play their first game till after Labor Day. Had Holy Cross on the schedule for Saturday but I don't think that happened. Maybe everyone should schedule a 10th game for this week but the 2 teams that are considered the best play each other for the championship and the teams that were supposed to play those teams could play each other to get their 10th game in.

This really more like a medium sized school championship.

What happened that there isn't a NKY freshman big school championship?

From Eyeofthetiger weekly report Freshman The freshman season is still ongoing with the young Tigers preparing for a championship game versus the Scott Eagles. Beechwood enters the game with two losses - a 4 point loss at Scott and a 5 point loss to Covington Catholic. In the Covington Catholic game, Beechwood had the ball first and goal at the three yard line with less than a minute to go and looked ready to get a win. A bobbled exchange was recovered by the Colonels securing the win for them. The first game between Beechwood and Scott was closely contested and there is no reason to expect anything different in this one. This game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29 6 pm at Scott High School. Good luck to the Tigers on avenging their loss to Scott and winning the small school freshman championship.

Didn't see a thread on this already. Beechwood @ Scott (Frosh) 10/29 6pm Small School Championship. My understanding is that Scott beat Beechwood during the regular season. Anyone have any comments or insight on this game?

I don't know what to think about this one. I feel Beechwood is the better team, but this is the BW-NCC game. NKYPete has seen both teams and he predicts a shootout. Can some of the Dixie fans comment based on what they saw?

The last option can't happen unless there is a tie in the Male vs CAL game.

Mayfield appears to have a pretty good defense. Haven't see it but based on update and game threads they seem to keep them in games.

Personally, I think all polls should be private. Then you would a real feel for how people would predict a game!
