Not sure St Pat can score. I like that they have a pesky defense at times and present some matchup issues. Not sure their primary ball handler can handle pressure. That'd be a good place for a point guard looking to play somewhere. IMO Sometimes they score really well and sometimes they bomb....with like 41 or or 37 or something. Seems like if they'd keep mason around that number they'll have a chance. They'll have to step up. Sticklen would have to have a mammoth game 30+ points and 15+rebounds and could if his team would rally behind him. Just not sure their PG play is capable. Gotta have a solid point player in the post season. Really need 2 his day and age. Mason has 3 guys even 4 that can handle it What I do like about St Pat....... Good size Good speed Good sets offensively Good pressure defense Emphasis on good, not great or best Coach Tailor has done good to get that team where they are. I couldn't imagine coaching there. I'd be interested to see him with 5-7 guys that can play some ball. Looking at finishing the season .500 Tuesday night They'll have to play a phenomenal game to punch Mason. I like Augusta over Bracken. Losing to bracken probably helped them more than it hurt them. Maddox played horribly that game and Schrader didn't shoot well at all. They will pull it off at mason.....they are battle tested. Snapp missing hurts, but STRATEGY is everything I'm the post season. Small ball is the key here for Augusta.

Despite this final score....... Augusta won't let this happen again come district. Congrats on snapping the plague of losses, Augusta will prevail in Distrtict.

Spaulding and Justice are two specific players that no one can contain. Arguably there are about 10 other players. Mr basketball will come down to these two. Those two are "men amongst boys" Having a good game or a bad game are the only obstacles they worry about. I'm not up to date with Western Kentucky players like I should be. It's the players around Henry that make him stand out.

He could most certainly play there. Gotta tell you, Henry without Williams, Johnson and D Johnson would be interesting. Just wasn't impressed with his ability. Mr Basketball is a stretch. This is an award that would, in my mind be garnered to an individual that cannot be contained. He's been contained according to stat reporting by Mason County on Khsaa

Noticed the big for Pendleton got injured. Any status on this young man?

I think that's a great consideration for him. Haven't seen much of him contributing from the perimeter and at 6'6' he will have to become more versatile from the wing spots (defensively and offensively) to be effective D-1 He's D-2 ready to play at best.

Coach Baker is a heck of a guy, but I'll admit he's cut from a different vine. Not sure why of his lag on Stat reporting .

Agreed and those 10th region coaches need to lobby for him to be nominated amongst the regions best players..... Torn ACL or not he is qualified .....

I think you have to be diplomatic in this business. Depends on the suggestion an depends on the Coach. Some coaches don't have a staff that are knowledgable enough. But a part of me says parents should be spectators.

Heard the official Sosbe was on his game..sarcasm intended.... Could've had a better crew for that matchup..... No coaching issue in either of the schools finally. This is a huge rival. Bourbon is clearly the 4 Paris has it's best shot to get to the regional. But really don't see anyone but Clark and MoCo playing for the region unless they square up 1st round

I like Augusta in this one. Strength of schedule and experience vs. opponents with bigs. Pretty sure Mason and Campbell would be picks to win big over Owen Co. Augusta had success (but not depth) in competing with these two teams. I think it will come down to the battle of the guards (williams gets his 24/14) Schrader will have to have a solid performace (shooting well of late) and Tucker will have to produce solid minutes at least 8+ points with the three headed monster producing 45 points or more. holding owen guards will be key. Look for Hinson to staul like always with leads against better opponents. The pen is certainly mightier than the sword here. My gut says Panthers win......., but the likelihood scenarios..... I say either Owen County by 15+ or Augusta by 5-7 points. I am going with Augusta..... Heck with the 8th region. Overrated. 10th is strong

Another Sticklen double/Double?? Man is this kid for real? I'll be at the MontCo vs Stpat matchup....this ought to really show me where he is with his game. If he is good than it would be a travesty not to have him on the All Tenth Region award list I think there's only 1 game he has failed to coup a double/double.....don't see another with the exception of Henry at MaCo pulling these kinds of stats off St Pat going for 6 straight against Ludlow.

Probably need to reconsider your feelings..... Monroe Co. can flat out get it But they definitely have the toughest road...... I call Monroe Co vs. NCC in the finals...... I believe Augusta will be way prepared for Owen although OCO is hot right now..... Hinson will be ready... They have to many guards...... Hinson has had success against squads with superior bigs...... his ability to stop OCO guards and limit their scoring will be the key. Carson Williams with 20+ points and 15+ rebounds though. Augusta wins by 7-10 points......IMO

Paris will have to shoot well from perimeter to be competitive here, not sure they have the 3 point aptitude to win this one..... Nice match ups: Williams vs Clarke Garrard vs Henry Wells vs Thomas Dumphords vs Omara Not so sure I wouldn't matchup wells on Pig and Clark on Darius W....... Obryan will have to have a huge night for this event for Paris.

Looking at a strong Morgan County squad. I like Magoffins squad as well! Magoffin looking tough for the 2015-16 season IMO

Gallatin County beat a nice Whitefield Academy Squad, Danville and played All "A" 8th Region winner within 5 points and 2 points in the All "A", as well as Collins! They are missing key component Koby Carlton who's a prolific ball handler and creator. Prayers to that young man. Looks like the Pats are improving and gelling together a little (more to follow). Sticklen with double/double 27/14 And their freshman Swolsky is producing 15/8 alongside him. They might be ok come post season. Good Luck "Patties!" Nice win over the 8th!
