Because district games is the only thing that decides district winners that aren't a tie, then use district games as tie breaker by using points for and against as tie breakers since all district teams all play common opponents. That is how I would do it. That way bad teams out of district can't be the determining factor because it's tough year to year to judge who will be bad especially coming off good years the year before.

Yea the tie breaker for 3 teams is really bad. You could literally finish the reg season with a 9-1 record while the two other teams could be 6-4 and 7-3 and you could be the #3 seed with a 9-1 record. They really need a different tie break system. The only silver lining for Cooper with a loss to Conner this weekend would be the worst they can finish for their first year after Moving up to 6A is a tie for district title.

Only thing your missing is I wasn't talking easy to west. Northern KY means northern most part of the state. Not northeastern or northwestern.

How did I discredit N Brown? I've done nothing but praise him this entire season. If saying Morgan had better passing numbers than Brown in that game is discrediting Brown simply because I went straight off the factual stats of the game then you need a chill pill. Take a deep breath and relax. I understand you are VERY close to N Brown, so don't take anything said about him as a diss. He's done great this year, that doesn't mean he has to be the best QB in every game.

Ok, lets go by geography then, how is Lexington Northern Kentucky? How is Frankfort Northern Kentucky? If the state was 1000 miles long from north to south then I could see Lexington being considered northern instead of central but when the state is only a couple hundred miles from north to south and Lexington is about in the middle of that distance from NKY then that would fall into central not northern.

How so? Lights out defense would be shutouts. How is giving up 27 and 34 the last two weeks lights out?

wouldn't district boundaries be more telling of what areas are where? For instance, NKY has 2 6A districts. Not one single team in either of those districts are further south than boone of Kenton county. The furthest south a 5A team is in NKY is Grant Co. NKY is not Lexington etc.

You may regret that train of thought. He is much more explosive in the open field and being a receiver he is just that, out in the open field catching passes. He is much easier to contain when he is running up the middle as a RB because you can gang tackle him as he runs between the tackles. Harder to gain tackle a receiver out in the open. Against Conner England had less receptions than carries but he had more yards receiving and by a lot. England avg'd over 10 yards a reception but averaged less than a yard per carry against Conner.

If they use England in the slot like they did some against Conner then there is a matchup right there that can give SK some problems. If you double him in coverage that will leave Ryle's best athlete open all day long with their TE, I forget his name, so excuse me for that, but he is a play maker with great hands. With their TE and England running routes, that is one matchup that Ryle can take advantage of.

To be fair for Morgan, even that game he was better than N Brown who i really like, but Morgan still had a better game throwing. His accuracy is a lot better and arm strength is much stronger. Brown had a great game with Hendrix but was still under 50% passing that night with an int.

In the weather conditions we will see Saturday, I will never say never. It is supposed to be rain rain and more rain. On either Cooper or Conner's field, that will make for a very interesting game. I do agree in one aspect though, there is no way that Conner wins by 3 TD's. I will never say they can't win after seeing this rivalry thru the years, but no way by 3 TD's if they do win.

I would have to disagree. The better team won that game, not just the better coaches. The only player Ryle truly has at a position better than Cooper is Morgan at QB. TCA is a better back than any of the Ryles stable of backs when healthy. Hendrix is a better WR than any and all of Ryles receivers and Coopers defense all over the field are better than Ryles defense. The better team won.

Nice thing about kickers is although they don't get offered DI scholarships usually out of HS, they can walk in about anywhere and then earn scholarship in future years which means if they are good enough like JD, they a lot of times can have their pick of schools because many will Show interest because they can give them PWO status.
