Yeah, this is a kid I mentioned on the best Freshman thread earlier...ofcourse he's a sophomore now. It's interesting how he's listed as a pitcher here. I always thought he was a better catcher. Maybe his throwing is way ahead of his hitting at this point though. Either way, he's a solid player.

Agreed. Stranger things have happened, but I'd still be surprised.

I hate to have to agree with you on this....but I do. Hope I'm wrong because I'd like to see a local small school do well. But I agree, Paris is stronger now than they were then. And they still won back then. So I see it about the same as you are predicting.

Would've liked Ludlow's chances better if they were at home.... Going to Paris, not so sure Ludlow can pull it off... We'll see.

I saw a couple of Campbell County fall games and didn't recognize him... Unless he's gotten taller. I thought he was a short / stocky kid... Maybe I'm thinking of someone else though.

I like the Ziegelmeyer kid a lot and I want to get out and see the Purnell kid this upcoming season too. First heard about Ziegelmeyer from a friend who was at the Top Prospect Games at WKU awhile back. He said that Slone and Ziegelmeyer were really impressive. I'd seen Slone several times so I made it a point to get out and see Ziegelmeyer after that conversation. He didn't disappoint, very solid player.

Thanks for clarifying... It was that team from North Carolina that I was told he was going to. So, seems like you have the inside track. And I agree, wouldn't make much sense to leave Midland at this point. And that is exactly what I said to the guy who told me he was leaving Midland. Why now?

Heard from someone the other day that Stringer is not staying with Midland... So, if anyone knows for sure, feel free to share.

Thanks for info everyone! Okay, so we know Ziegelmeyer, Purnell, Raisor, Combs, Stringer and Slusher are with Midland. Slone is with Bluegrass Chiefs.... Any other changes / additions with the Bluegrass Chiefs, Ky Colonels or At The Yard? Any other teams of note? Those are the 3 NKY teams that were earlier discussed as the best in NKY. Also I throw in Midland cause they're loaded with NKY kids. Anyway, should be some good summer ball after another good HS season I suspect.

Are the BW kids staying with Midland?

Well said... I had an uncle that coached D1 soccer for a decade.... He always preached playing hard and showing respect ( for the opponent, officials, fans, etc) at the same time.

Absolutely.... The Chiefs should be solid again. I'm assuming they will have Seiter, Lyons, Hayes and Ramey as well. Adding Slone to that group...they're loaded with smart, hard-nosed players. I'm interested to see them play this summer for sure.
