I've watched a lot of tape on both teams, and I am finally able to give my prediction on the best game of Round 2 in the state. I used the eye test, matchups, style of play, coaching, individual talent, and location to help determine this pick. My neutral pick on this one is Central 17 Boyle County 20

Best analogy I can think of for you guys wondering how do you losing with 3 highly touted lineman is the Dallas Cowboys. They have 3 Pro Bowl OL from 2014 on their current roster and guess what they stink right now! And I haven't heard one person on ESPN say wait a minute they have 3 great lineman so they shouldn't be this bad. No they talk about how injured they are, their lack of playmakers on offense, and how shaky the defense has been. The fact that they haven't won a game since September tells any logical person that it takes more to winning games then having a few great players on an offensive line. Give Coach Johnson more time to try to build something, it was his first year.....

I find it funny how even with them out of the playoffs they are still being discussed. Some people are just hanging on like the bitter ex wife. Not sure if it's the animosity that the 3 OL generated by getting scholarship offers or they just love to jab at the current coaching staff. Either way let it go. Those lineman are on their way to get a free education and yet grown adults are upset and typing up a storm about it. I salute any kid from KY that can prevent any form of debt , graduate, and compete at a high level of football. I can't stand the crab bucket mentality you people have.

It will leave a very public black eye on the sport. With players like Junior Seau who lost their lives because of this, I can see the hesitation by the parents to put their child in football. I already thought football was tough enough to get kids involved in because of the demands on your body when you are playing, and then the long term damage it can have on you after you stop playing. Putting this on the big screen during College Football bowl season and as the start of the NFL postseason gets into full swing will heighten the attention and revenue of this motion picture. The bigger question will be do we put our youth football players through non contact drills and 7 on 7 until high school? What does the research show us on kids that start at 14 years old? Can we provide more protection with today's helmets? Maybe during the physical each kid should have their brain examined every year they enter?

This is pretty comical if you think about it. People posting about how fast their players are in comparison to another team that they watched on a laptop. When I watch games on film it looks totally different in person. The WR Corp at LC is defiantly in the discussion with all of the great ones in the state of KY. I said earlier this Spring that this is the best Corp of Wide outs (1-6) that LC has ever had and I stand by that. I also said JJ should be an All State WR and I stand by that. All of the balance and overall team success isn't strictly on speed. These young men run routes again and again and again. The amount of attention that is taught in our execution is drilled to them in practice. For us to have that kind of success at WR with three different Quarterbacks behind center is a major accomplishment. So yes speed helps Waggner fans, but what good is 4.3 or 4.4 if you can't execute. And to say "way" faster than JJ Ogbogu is a flat out lie at high school level. And I tip my hat to you Jack for complimenting Joseph like that. Thanks - LEX
