Last time I checked, college coaches aren't responsible for putting players into the league. Coaches are supposed to win titles, and make these students better men. I believe it was Mustang who said to me in a previous thread that 1% of college players make it to the NBA.

Pirates at Reds (4/14 - 4/16)

I think that makes sense. The problem with that, is we don't really have a true leadoff guy other than Hamilton. Even Hamilton his self, is very raw. Who would you put there? Definitely not Cozart. I think you have to go 1. Phillips 2. Votto 3. Bruce -

He's going to look good wearing purple and yellow in tinseltown. -

Mesoraco is blooming right now. He may not be a better game caller than hanigan right now, but he's definitely a better bat. He can still call an excellent game. With that being said, I think Cueto picks up the dub tonight. Keep Joey in that #2 spot. -
Totally agree. I'm sure these players have that rich friend, or some hunnies who would buy them a meal.

Quick had a lot of talent in front of him.

Teddy Bridgewater - Draft Stock

As a coach, you would rather have a player who performs on the field and is sub-par in workouts, than a guy who is bad on the field, but stellar in workouts. -
Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell will not enter the 2014 NBA Draft - CBSSports.com

If Harrell can pick up where he left off of from last year and develop a mid range jumper, he will be a lottery pick next year. The NBA drafts on potential and athleticism.

Lousiville Football Schedule 2014
bluegrassball92 replied to CoachBuckett's topic in College Football
I guess i could have used a different word than turning point. My point was that after FSU they have 3 games that could have a huge impact on our season. if we win 6 games going into the FSU game, we would still have a chance for a 9 win season in our first ACC season. If they lose focus and moral we could be a 6 win team. -

The turning point of the season will be after the FSU game. IMO I think we get thumped by the Winston and the seminoles. Hopefully that doesnt demoralize a young team against BC and ND. -
I have always been a big fan of gardner. I never really knew what his potential was, but I love big pro style QB's like gardner. To all of you that went, how was gardner at moving around both inside the pocket and making throws on the run ?

Anyone know whats going on with Nelson? is he going to play freshman and dress varsity, or be called up right away.

Desean Jackson signs deal with Redskins

Jackson did come out with a statement after they released him. I think that was the only thing he did to clear his name. -
To me it doesn't really matter whether the keep it or do away with it. I don't like cut blocks and i think a player should learn different strategies and styles to block his man straight up, pick up a blitz, or stall block backside.

Alot of the policies hold alot of teachers back. -
I agree with that 100%. on the otherhand we all have our struggles. I focus on living my life right now, progressing in my career, and keeping good company. I'll worry about love when I finish my Masters. As for now, I do show love... for a small portion of time. Stick in there wire, you have to wake up and make the best of every day possible.

^ that is something I totally overlooked. makes more sense now.

You all have been putting great thoughts into play. This is why I like little debates like this, it tests what I think or know as well as gives me a new perspective on certain things.

I have never been heartbroken, but i know what it feels like to hurt. i don't let people in close enough for my heart to break, best thing when you're hurting or heartbroken is to bee around people. You may not want to but it helps oh so much.

in the games that ive watched, below average players get to the basket or open jump shots with ease. Especially in transition.
