  1. I have seen alot of awesome points, and most of them will probably be in my eval of next years team. I think we can assume that harrell is leaving. Altogether we lose trez, russ, hancock,SVT, hendo and kevin ware. We replace losing 6 with gaining 6 in Shaquan aaron, jaylen johnson, onuaku, snider, stockman, and mahmoud. Louisville wont be the powerhouse they have shown to be the past few years, because as you can see, they lose alot of leadership with this years senior class. Jones goal was to transfer to uofl for a year then go to the nba, but after a great start and lackluster second half he should return. I'm really excited about our recruits as well. Ive read Mahmoud had the same thing happen to him as Anthony davis. Mahmoud was a 6'6 point guard and then shot up to 7 ft. dribbles the ball well and is quick as well as the ability to knock down threes (davis could not). its very hard to tell who is gonna step up from the 6 incoming players. its never a bad thing to have two 7 footers. I think pitino will use a deep bench IMO. Using this strategy will give the cardinals the best chance to win in the tough ACC. My projected starting 5 would have to be 1. Chris Jones 2. Terry Rozier 3. Wayne Blackshear 4. Mango Mathiang 5. Anas Mahmoud 6th man: Anton Gill Role players with game time: Akoy Agau, Snider, Aaron, Stockman- Watch for Agau to fall behind if his attitude doesnt change.
  2. I have never been a fan of a high school turning over a head coach that fast, in any sport. In most cases as a coach in high school athletics, you have to deal with the hand dealt to you. As long as there are improvements in the slightest bit, I think a coach should be able to retain his job.
  3. I think they beat holmes,Aiken,Newport,Holy Cross, Grant, Conner, and Cooper (wildcard)
  4. Just announced that Cueto will in fact start on opening day. Latos to start the season off at the 5 spot
  5. My point was, his issues are not that bad. His accuracy isn't in shambles like some QB's. I was saying that with his intelligence and ethic he will be able to correct those accuracy issues. Hopefull he works with Norv and is in purple and yellow
  6. No surprise, he never has been able to throw it with much accuracy. The UofL receivers were not often hit in stride on deep throws. Many times the had to comeback to it or make a diving attempt because it was overthrown. He is incredibly smart football wise, and he does work extremely hard. he will be fine in the league
  7. Even though I am a diehard UofL fan, I just dont think we will be able to get it done and here is why. Louisville likes to speed up teams, and create pressure and havoc with the press. This works extremely well against teams who run a halfcourt offense and want to get set up. UofL does not do well at all with teams who have length or teams that like to run. Unfortunately UK 1. has tremendous length and 2. are generally not very good when they have to set up their offense. Uk has both of the death combinations for louisville. I will be rooting my hind end off for my cards, but I'm taking a realistic approach. I do hate to bet against my cards, but I just dont think they have this one in them. I do hope that the winner of this game takes the title. Lets keep it in the best basketball state in america for the third straight year.
  8. Scott has a relatively soft schedule. I could see them winning 6 games at the minimum.
  9. Right, but not too many underclassmen had playing time in the secondary.
  10. SK lost their entire secondary. That is what I want to see the most, other than the QB battle. Overall I think they have it in them to win the district but have the colonels and camels right on their heels.
  11. I agree with 1 and 2. 3-6 to me is going to be a toss up. I do however think ryle may sneak up on people this year. How many exceptionally good freshman classes are going to come thru ryle before they have a run in the playoffs.
