  1. Not to mention that the NBA has the worst transition defense ive ever seen.
  2. You made great points, and I can agree to a certain extent. I dont watch alot of NBA regular season games, but when I do i see alot of guys defending when they want to.
  3. If defense is truly being played at "an extremlely high level" then 120 points would never be broken.
  4. I think as long as the cutting takes place in the box, then it should be fine. I have seen alot of teams who have gotten rid of cut blocking altogether. believe it or not, a lot of high school players are not that great at cutting to begin with. I learned this when I played in college. There is a technique to it and it can be hard to pull off against a good D-lineman.
  5. I really liked that article. i know alot of people dog on sherman, but i like him alot. He is very educated and makes great points.
  6. My point exactly. The only thing they hung on him was the fact that he has made a few rap records and hangs out with producers and artists. Many pro athletes are spotted with other famous people, and then the teams are flabbergasted that famous people would be seen with other famous people. NO WAY!!!
  7. Our school district has only taken one holiday, and a professional development day to help make up time. We had i think 14 snow days this year too. It's also the little things in situations like this. Teachers and staff have to make those hours up or it comes out of their check. Many times it is hard for them to make those hours up, and they lose money. It isn't a teachers fault when 6 inches of snow comes so why penalize them.
  8. great points!! personally i love college basketball from november until april. I watch the NBA playoffs usually, but here is why I prefer college basketball. Plain and simple, heart. College basketball players play with an incredible level of heart and energy, which is the reason these 14 and 15 seeds make upset runs in the tourny. Pure heart and love for the game. I think the NBA is the only sport where no one has heart until the playoffs. Basic fundamentals of the game are ignored in the regular season, mainly defense and it makes me sick. I think the NBA should follow the playoff format that the MLB uses. Much more effective.
  9. Bill 211 in the Kentucky House of Rep. passed to enact a snow day forgiveness policy, relieving up to 10 days of instruction time. Now different legislators are calling to have the bill shutdown, stating it just gives schools a free pass and they lose quality instruction time. what are your thoughts? 10. I know a lot of people who watch NCAA basketball just for march madness, and likewise with the NBA playoffs. I also know that there are diehard fans of both. Which do you prefer? and why do you think it is better?
  11. It's hard to tell at this point. Based on his character on and off the field, I would say that he did it to stay in division and use every opportunity to torch them. I also heard that the raiders offered the most money deal wise.
  12. Did he move down because high school was just to much on him after so long?
  13. Former eagles wideout Desean Jackson signed a 3 year deal with the Washington Redskins. This gives them a threat on the outside, returning kicks, and out of the backfield at times. The redskins now have a receiving corps that could be dangerous with Jackson and Garcon on the outside, and andre roberts in the slot.
  14. Until you show me an official louisville physical stat sheet, I will have to stick to the recruiting giants.
  15. It is unlikely that he stays, but he is in a similar situation as Dieng. Dieng was a defensive force his sophmore year and he could score close to the basket but relied heavily on one move. he stayed his junior year and developed a mid range jumper and a variety of post moves especially scoring with his opposite hand. Trez is in the same boat and not as good defensively. Harrell's athleticsm may push him into the draft but he could stay to develop more of his game and improve his draft stock for next year.
  16. I doubt we will look at transfers but you never know. I just don't see it with bringing in 6 recruits plus bringing back 6. i believe you get 12 or 13 scholarships though. long off season ahead, I would hope they just focus on developing their players and getting them ready for the acc as well as building some chemistry.
  17. UofL has pitino under contract through 2017. i think he will stay until that time and then retire.
  18. I'm comparing their weight, absolutely. I never said mahmoud would be better in my previous post either. Basically I'm saying davis played at a low weight in college. I was disputing the fact that mahmoud needed to gain 40 pounds before he could make an impact.
  19. Anthony davis plays in the NBA at 220. played at UK weighing like 210
