  1. Bingo. Thats the main point I was trying to make. if he was allowed to play as a hybrid and rush hard off the edge, then it's a different story. He would blow by tackles and create havoc. I definitely agree that the scheme hurts him.
  2. I never looked at it like that. It still hasn't changed my opinion but I don't disagree with you completely. Do I consider myself a christian. yes. Am I the definition of a good christian? Absolutely not.
  3. I'm saying he would excel there. I'm not knocking him either. He looks like a great athlete, I just dont know if its coaching or what but it looks like he struggles to get off of some blocks and recovers with his speed. He wont be able to do that in D-1 or even D-2. But who knows he could go either level. He wont play D-line ever in college and that may hurt his D-1 or D-2 stock.
  4. WOW! This kid is going to be a great interior lineman at the college level. He has an explosive drop step, gets those feet into the ground, and gets to his block. My favorite thing about watching this kid is, his drive. Has a great motor and looks to punish you.
  5. It looks like his size is lacking for D-1. I do think he would look better in a stand up role, such as, a hybrid in a 3-4. Shows a good first 2 steps, seems to be pretty fast, but it looks like he would get hung up on those big tackles. definitely a great looking athlete. I think he would be a great fit for a Thomas More type school or an NAIA school.
  6. It will never be a deterrent, because every criminal thinks they are going to get away with it. Someone who is truly guilty, by confession, should be put to death. If you think a murderer should be able to live, I feel sorry for you.
  7. I guess my political belief is, to some point, aligned with Nader. I believe that it is ignorant to have a set mindset to either be left or right. Issues facing this nation need to be tackled head on and together. " We may fail on our own, but together, we shall prove victorious". Not saying the issues we face today could be solved right away, but this country, would make amazing strides if we should some unity throughout our government.
  8. If you are against the death penalty, what do you suggest we do with these people who commit heinous crimes?
  9. I believe in it, IF it is the person who is guilty. I can see where you would think my stance is on both sides but it's not. I believe the innocent inmates should be free'd, and I think think people guilty of committing Heinous crimes should be put to death. I totally agree with anyone's stance about innocent inmates on death row, it's likely they will never get justice, which is awful.
  10. I don't think a company should be forced to hire them, but I do think they could assist them in finding a job. When you get a government reference, as a company, you will probably hire the person.
  11. If a Black, Asian, Hispanic, or any person from a different ethnicity would have said it about a white person, it would have been swept under the rug.
  12. couldn't agree more. I am pro capital punishment. You wont find any resistance from me.
  13. Nader shares ideas from his new book “Unstoppable: The Emerging Left-Right Alliance to Dismantle the Corporate State” I agree with some of his ideas. Ralph Nader's America: Impeach Obama, decriminalize drugs, libertarians & progressives unite!
  14. Let the controversy begin. Oklahoma botches execution, raising questions on death penalty in U.S.
  15. I suggested that the formula for repay should be National average salary x number of years in prison, and also services such as job placement and 4 year tuition.
  16. I had to do a paper on it for my masters degree. Interesting after doing research and finding out how poor these people's lives are, after they get out of jail for a crime they didn't commit.
  17. Do you think the federal government should require all 50 states to give compensation to exonerated inmates ? Should they be required to provide services such as job placement and college tuition ?
  18. I love having a much tougher schedule than last year. Tougher schedules pay dividends in the tourny. The last time we had a grueling schedule(conference wise) we happened to win the ship. I'll also note that we don't have Siva, Gorgui, Behanan, or Hancock, but you get what I'm saying. :ylsuper:
  19. My point is, if anybody is the show in KY, it's UofL. It's not like we dont put fans in seats. With our schedule this year, its gonna be packed. I understand that there should have been more on senior day. Last years schedule was awful. Look for sold out games every home game this year in ACC play.
  20. No, they just took a proven coach to win right away, instead of hiring on potential.
  21. Did a little researching on the internet, and I found that UK's average attendance is a little over 59,000 in a stadium that holds over 67,000. PJCS holds only 55,000 and the average attendance is a little over 52,000, therefore, UofL's attendance to capacity ratio is higher.
  22. Uk football is garbage. I can think of no other word that can perfectly describe their football program. Bottom line: don't call your program the show of the state when you haven't been to a BCS caliber bowl since the 1950's.
