Mt. Healthy was quicker. Beechwood tried to play too much man on defense and got hammered by long passes for TD's. Offense was struggling to get anything going. Dropped passes left and right including one in the back of the endzone. Fumbles. Wet conditions played a big factor but isn't an excuse. Studer and Stokes were not utilized in the offense in the first half very well at all. The line for Mt. Healthy was having their way with Beechwood. Interesting thing I heard from several people (Mt. Healthy AND Beechwood parents) was that the QB should not have been playing this game. Got caught smoking weed in the bathroom at school. I thought that was pretty funny. If that's a Beechwood kid he is kicked off the team. Different game with that QB on the sideline. Mt. Healthy needs a kicker. Other than that, they are pretty good. Penalties killed most of their drives, but they ended up scoring anyway. Beechwood has some work to do, that's for sure.

Okay, but if they use the items that are illegal below a certain age, how does that make it any different than using something that is illegal all the time? IT IS STILL ILLEGAL.

I am not condoning the behavior. I simply think that this behavior shouldnt be treated any different than a kid getting caught dipping, smoking tobacco, misbehaving in class, having bad grades, getting caught drinking, etc. etc. You're all freaking out over something that is a lot more common these days.

I am absolutely not justifying it what so ever. I am simply not going to judge CHILDREN for a mistake they made. Kids that I know nothing about besides this one instance. I am not saying it is right at all. But people mess up. Learn from it and move on.

I find it quite humorous that smoking "wacky backy" in high school is getting so much attention. I promise at least half of you did the same.

Why on Earth would it matter if he shoots/makes 3's? Booker, Harrison, Harrison, Ulis, Towns, Willis, etc. etc. Drive the ball to the rim and be a beast. That is all he needs to worry about.

1. Mayfield 2. Beechwood 3. Frankfort The rest the same. Beechwood returns too much to be out of the top 2 if not at the top. Id even make an argument for the #1 spot. Hard to compete with a team with all seniors on both sides of the ball pretty much.

Why do Beechwood threads always turn into "Beechwood vs. Mayfield" and talking about the Yeagle area EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Why can't we just talk about the TEAM. Not the past.

Can we stop beating around the bush? He was caught sleeping with a 5th grade teacher in the parking lot in his/her car is the story that I have been hearing in Fort Mitchell. And we all know Fort Mitchell is stellar for their parent gossip. It is usually pretty reliable. Say it how it is. If he did it, he deserves to be called out on it. Do you know how many kids he suspended/disciplined for "sexting" and inappropriate behavior, and then does this? It's comical!!! I will put the almighty BIG BEN on BLAST 7 days a week.

I don't think he seeks contact, as much as he just doesn't try to avoid contact. He's learned that he can pick up more yards by lowering his shoulder and keeping his feet churning rather than dancing around like a ballet dancer trying to avoid defenders. Size isn't an issue. He is a mule. He can hang with the big boys just fine. I don't see them limiting his carries. Too valuable on BOTH sides of the ball.

I see Studer getting the majority of carries from the backfield this year by a lot. He kind of separated from the pack last year towards the end of the season and really finished strong. With a good offseason, I think Studer will finally get the recognition he deserves. Kid works way too hard.
