  1. I'm quite because I'm still young. Not sitting at home on a Saturday in front of a computer screen. You all crack me up!! This site is very entertaining!!!
  2. I know for a fact Lloyd will not play Beechwood. And here we go again.....Beechwood can't catch a break. What about Boone County? I heard the pee wee Senior Spartans could beat them this year. Why aren't we talking about their coach or who they schedule?
  3. Hey sports guy, who's quote is this?????? Thought this game was meaningless a hahahaha
  4. Well I can assure you, because I know first hand about Beechwoods coaches (unlike anyone else on this site) that these coaches study tape, prepare these kids, do all the things necessary during halftime of these games, and teach these kids just as much if not more than any coaching staff in the area. We are a small school, we do the best with what we get. When your starters that play summer baseball miss summer football practices, things aren't going to be as solid on week 1 or week 2 of the season as "old natives" might like. They will get it together. No need to bash Rash, Hergott, Brilz, or any of the other coaches. Whatever grudges the guys on this site are holding need to let it go. These are good coaches and even better life teachers. I would know, I played for them.
  5. And yes, I use a 2A school to measure how we will perform against 1A schools because they are closer to the size, athleticism etc. of the other 1A schools we will play. Ex, Bellvue Ludlow Dayton etc. Getting stomped in the ground vs the large schools are used as measuring sticks too, just not in the same way that playing schools more closely resembling teams that we are going to face in the playoffs, thus backing my statement that EVERY GAME MATTERS. I don't know why that is so hard to understand.
  6. Concerned meaning.....we are going to get stomped in the ground. Not concerned with win or lose. LMAO
  7. and what team do you follow???? This was a good measuring stick. Playing against a team the same size as us for the first time this year. Wasn't intended for a belly laugh. Cov Cath and Franklin County are NOT the games that matter. Got a win on the table, the kids had fun for the first time this year, and now they have a little momentum going. Every game means something. Thought you would know that by now. Then again, you are the one that posted the thread about Beechwood to begin with.
  8. That should shut down the Beechwood Haters thread. Foot on the gas the entire game. Everyone can take a seat now...Beechwood is fine. Dixie and Mt. Healthy were just bigger and faster this year. I expect the same results from those games vs. Cov Cath but other than that....in 1A football....Beechwood will be good.
  9. Oh, and if the "Old School" Beechwood natives are getting restless.....STAY HOME.
  10. Alright, obviously times have changed. Players aren't transferring, we are smaller, blah blah blah. I played for these coaches. They were some of the greatest people I have ever met. As players, we knew these big schools, tough schools on our schedule were going to be tough to hold our own against before we stepped foot on the field. This isn't a matter of win or lose. This is a matter of getting prepared for the playoffs to go out and win in our own class. I don't see Dayton, Ludlow, Bellvue and all these other 1A schools playing Dixie, Cov Cath, Mt. Healthy etc. etc. This is high school football. Say what you want about the coaching and such. But just know this is more than a game. It taught me so much to constantly be the underdog and have to fight for what I wanted. They don't schedule teams like Dixie and these big schools for wins. It's a measuring stick. So continue to rip on Beechwood all you want, but I for one, would like to say no matter who we play, no matter the record, no matter how big our boys are, no matter who is coaching, I will ALWAYS support the Beechwood Tigers.
  11. That was me. Once again,...I was wrong. Thought Beechwood would have more left in the tank seeing as they all looked done at halftime last week and came out swinging. Dixie played one hell of a game.
  12. real classy. ive congratulated dixie and admitted i was wrong. and you call yourself an adult  #shotsfired
  13. We compared our predictions to how we played against Mt. Healthy and how Dixie played against Cov Cath.....we were wrong. Can't wait to see the records at the end of the year.
  14. Im not as concerned with losing to Dixie like this. A lot of kids, big kids, ground game is stellar, pass game isnt there but they are tough. I am more concerned about the Cov Cath game. Because if Cov Cath embarrassed Dixie like that and then Dixie whooped up on us....thats the only game of concern to me.
  15. I still wouldn't count Beechwood out. If there is one definite advantage Beechwood has against every team they play....they are way better conditioned. If Dixies line gets the slightest bit tired in the second half....watch for the comeback.
  16. Seems like Beechwood has completely forgotten about the Mt. Healthy game. Same thing. Read options all game long. Beechwood trying to tackle high and getting run over. I can see why Dixie struggled vs. Cov Cath. It's easy for Cov Cath to key run all game because Dixie can't throw the ball to save their life. Beechwoods line getting blown off the ball, not giving Feiger enough time to even drop back before he has to leave the pocket. I look for Beechwood to make some adjustments at the half and hopefully come out swinging again. We will see.
  17. I actually played on the team you are referring to. and they paid their price. so yes, it is different at Beechwood. and I only saw the first half but hardly saw Studer on the field for offense. Stokes as well. I agree, short term memory I guess.
  18. Go for two. What's the difference between a 1 point lead and a 2 point lead?
