  1. Wayne to punt to start 2nd quarter. Boyle takes over at own 42
  2. I think Reese Smith dropped a TD pass on 4th down and Wayne County took over on downs.
  3. The radio transmission is absolutely terrible so facts are very optional tonite.
  4. Im guessin it is an internet issue and they are transmitting via cell phones.
  5. Boyle scored on 2nd play of drive....radio is having some audio difficulties so not sure of the details....should have been about a 40yd TD. XP good. Boyle 14 Wayne 0
  6. Boyle forces a punt and takes over at Wayne 46
  7. Boyle deferred. McDaniel for Boyle with pick down to Wayne 3 Boyle scores on 4 plays. XP good. Boyle 7 Wayne 0
  8. I am not going to the game tonite. To my knowledge this will be the first Boyle County game I have missed since the 2012 season when Boyle defeated Russel County 14-6 in the playoffs. Good Luck to my Rebels....I will be listening to the velvet voice of Steve Bertram on Z105 tonight!
  9. Really nice thread this week...well done! Regardless of who plays who and where....3A playoffs will be epic.
  10. Boyle pretty much buzzsawed Wayne last year at Boyle. I would suspect traveling to Wayne County, the Cards are looking for some payback. Boyle had best come off the bus ready to play and anticipate a 4 quarter game in a rather hostile environment.
  11. I agree with your assessment 100%. The road to Kroger Field will get bloody in 3A. While I think Boyle is an excellent team, they have shown some defensive vulnerability. I think Central is better than advertised. I think Corbin is an offensive juggernaut, but defensively, like Boyle, has been suspect. And Belfry is Belfry, always a tough out. To me, I think Lex Cath is the biggest surprise. They appear to have it working well on both sides of the ball. The 6-10 spot are 'to be determined'. It is basically the same old song and dance. No disrespect to those teams. It is good to see Paducah Tilghman in the mix.
  12. Hated the penalty by Neal at the end of the game. I didn't care so much if Purdue won or lost, but it sure would have been nice to get the ball back for a chance to tie or win it. My wife and I went and the atmosphere was electric. Rondale is going to be so much fun to watch the next several years. This team will be fine and hopefully can get bowl eligible again this year. But Purdue has a really tough schedule this year so they are going to have to find a way to win 6 games again.
  13. I hear Lincoln had 300yds rushing....anyone have stats?
  14. Yes to both the previous post. It was a hustle play. The block was due to a bad snap that should have never been attempted.
  15. Will Bramel: Boyle Co OL Cory Trice: Christian Co DB Kadin Smith: Spencer Co DB
  16. And Purdue has plenty of redshirts from KY as well. Brohm's recruiting network in the state should be a concern for UK/UL. He is killing it!
  17. I was pretty sure Garrard would be hard pressed to score enough points with what Lincoln does. The Garrard ground n pound cant keep up with the Lincoln run n gun.
  18. A good and bad stat wrapped up into one!:jump::ohbrother:
  19. So I was at the game and Rondale is simply amazing. 313 all purpose yds in his first college game breaks a 42 year old Purdue record. That is an incredible accomplishment. The key is can Purdue keep him healthy. Overall Purdue shutout NW in the second half but couldn't overcome 3 first half turnovers. I think Purdue will be better than last years team, although the record may not reflect it....they have the 2nd toughest schedule in the country. I will be giddy if they can get bowl eligible again this year.
  20. Never, Never, ever underestimate this game. Blowouts are a thing of the past in this rivalry. Boyle has so much more overall talent than Danville, but Coach Clevenger gets every single ounce of blood, sweat, and tears from his players. The Ads literally playing to the point of exhaustion was inevitably was the difference in the game. If Drew Baker doesn't make a TD saving tackle for Boyle, Danville goes up 21-20 in the 4th quarter, and in my opinion, wins the game. Congrats on both teams for a very entertaining game for Titletown! With a little luck we can both get back to Kroger Field!
