Agreed - BUT - he didn't rip the D - he ripped the secondary. Read the post - called them "awful". Then, another poster called the post "gutsy". "Gutsy" would be telling the team what he thinks, or, telling the parents of the secondary what he thinks. In every football player's vocabulary, secondary means DBs. At a "2A" school like NCC, how many DBs do they play? 5-7 at most? Rip the D or rip the pass D - singling out a position group - IMO - too much.

I'm crystal clear on what you said - you said their DB group was terrible. Why don't you go to the school, on the practice field, in front of their coach - and tell them that. Let's be clear - I am not a NCC guy. I root for another proud Catholic football program in NKY. I root for you from afar and I really respect your program - and all that support it. Good luck to you and NCC - I just think the post was too close to home. I have always been impressed with how you guys close ranks and support your own. IMO, you need to keep it that way. I'm a competitor too - I understand frustration. I hate losing, more than I like winning, just like you. Support those kids and good luck the rest of the year!

The group probably consists of what - 5-7 guys? I'm not a NCC guy - you guys have a proud program - support those kids - they want nothing more than to do well and represent your community as best they can. They have big shoes to fill - help 'em, don't rip em!
