  1. Thanks - I should have just waited for your post - I did the long math from a previous BGP post and came up with same.
  2. Deleted my post - found answer to my question re: a list of 9th Region champions.
  3. So Cov Cath and Campbell would play in the first round in this scenario as well.
  4. Forgot to add - 9th Region Quarterfinals to thread title.
  5. I assume you mean Nate. Should have heard him when he was playin.
  6. Have to be careful b/c I'm not in the know re: Blessed Sacrament, but it would be tough for them to play in the PSL without a Gym suitable for game play, unless they can rent a facility.
  7. They certainly have the talent to pull that plan off.
  8. Meyer spoke with Weber's high school coach this weekend too. Sounds like they got things straight. With all the fuss around this kid, I hope he is worth it!
  9. This hire has also apparently soothed the Mike Weber situation - kid from Detroit miffed over Drayton leaving the day after signing day. Sounds like Alford was the lead ND coach in Weber's recruitment there.
  10. I am a Xavier fan, but I pull for UC for every other game (albeit for selfish strength of schedule reasons) - good for UC to get back on the winning track.
  11. That was awesome - throw back unis worn too. Roy was emotional (nothing new) during the game and in the presser afterward.
  12. Roy was pretty steamed at the UNC fans after the game. Not sure why - it's always been somewhat country clubbish at the Dean Dome. I'm sure he has his reasons. The four corners and throw back unis were awesome!
  13. You're spot on - a lot of basketball ahead for a lot of talented freshman around NKY. Also no guarantee that some of these kids won't look for greener playing time pastures at another school. Not suggesting anything, nor heard anything, but who knows what the future holds. There were some talented freshman at the JV level at several schools as well.
  14. I believe last night's win earned Dixie the outright NKAC title. I'm sure they'd trade it in a minute for a trip to Rupp, but a nice accomplishment nonetheless. Congrats to Dixie!
  15. Impressive win for the Breds. Rivalry looks to be strong for the years to come!
  16. Buckeye born, but Colonel bred and when I die, I'll be a Colonel dead! I am excited about the Eviston hire. He's relatively young, he's accomplished, and he has strong working knowledge of the Regional and State football landscape. The boys are excited too. I hope everyone that matters gives him time to work his plan (and I think they will). But, this is all talk - relatively cheap. Let's see what unfolds on the field over the next few years...looking forward to it!
  17. But unfortunately, they didn't win. And hence, the insufferable, but justified boasting continues in Ft. Thomas. Highlands is simply the best there is - hopefully, some day soon, the Colonels can be competitive (and I hope some of these TBA transfers don't come from 1600 Dixie Highway - seen that movie before). One thing for certain, HHS won't let off the gas pedal. They are the standard.
  18. I'll defer to someone else - I know the Freshman class well, but very little about the Varsity talent.
  19. CCH should have a very nice crop of Freshman ball players. I don't know if they have a ton of dominant arms, but they have some nice positional/offensive talent.
  20. Y I think he's referring to Kennedy - another Freshman catcher. AJ plays with the KY Colonels. Both are talented young men. I haven't seen much of either of them - just going by what I'm told. That could be an interesting position battle over the years. One of those nice problems to have as a coach.
