I am also disappointed that your coach saw as much disapproval with a particular referee. It is usually we that feel the frustration of his flamboyant calls. #not surprised I would have liked to see your best player given the benefit of a doubt on some close calls. It always makes me uncomfortable when the refs take the most talented players out of the game.

I was impressed with Trinity. They played very well. I applaud their win. I appreciate them making the long round trip from Louisville. I hope the two teams continue to work together to provide another good basketball game in the future. Thanks to the Knott players, and I applaud the athletic department for bringing the game to Hindman.

I would like an answer to some questions I have had for some time. 1. If Cordia were to be allowed to play in the All A tournament how many games would be left out of the 15? If my count is close to being right they would play at least 3 in the district, 3 in the region, and 4 in the state...assuming they were all wins. That would only allow them to play 5 games during the regular season! Close to being right? 2. If a school has to pay fines or pursue a case in court where do the funds come from? I'm sure that if the school used those funds they would have to receive permission from the school board of a county or city. Who approves those funds being used? Can the players now at Cordia still transfer after this decision today? And still play somewhere else? If so, I have to assume that the KHSAA is allowing, contributing to further penalties against CORDIA. Do the teams in the district that normally have to play, still have to play Cordia? Their schedules have probably already been filled with the maximum games allowed. Does a tournament count as one game or the number played? Questions still need specific answers.

I like the concept of having this covered and in the open. Certainly some discussion will take place of who favored the Commissioner's ruling and who was opposed to it.

Maybe so, I still think it ends up in court somewhere.

I just talked to a friend of mine who said I told you so. I have also heard that on here. Someone is probably going to end up being wrong, in some respect.

Will they vote in open forum or go into closed session and then return with their results?

It will be interesting to see who has the power.

Will that be the same judge that sided with Rhodes before?

My question concerns Cordia, if they decide to take it to court. When they have appealed the KHSAA decisions in the past they have chosen the judge that presented them with a favorable ruling. If CORDIA gets an unfavorable ruling are they going to be able to pick their judge?

I have one thought only on transfers, who plays and who doesn't. I believe every athlete should have to sit out one year if he transfers. Make it black and white. No exceptions. Make the rules the same for everyone. Once again, NO EXCEPTIONS!

If there is a better, hard working young man that Simon I have yet to meet him. When you look for a quality player who is a perfect example of a student athlete you are talking about Simon.

I'll put in a vote for South Laurel when they won it all and Shelby Valley when they won their State Championship. I guess I'll have to also cast a vote for Rowan County when they lost in 2 overtimes in the finals.

I'll vote for Paintsville on two occasions, once when they won it all and once when they were runner ups.
