According to the update thread, KCC went on a 44-1 run.

Careful in the rain.

Literally just got in. My thoughts on tonight are as follows:

Knott Co Central is the real deal and well deserving of their ranking.

Cam Justice is just awesome.

Evan Hall is a beast down low. Had a couple of rediculious dunks. One a put back slam

KCC gym is top notch facility. Great place to have a basketball game. Great place for a regional tournament. With that said while it is more updated and I loved the fold down seats, without ever witnessed a region tournament game there I'm sticking with the fieldhouse as my favorite tournament gym. The igloo will always be my favorite place to watch a game. But KCC is officially now my #2 favorite gym!!

Had the oppertunity to meet and chat with cahall before the game. Great guy and very knowledgeable of KCC basketball. Gave me a brief rundown of the history of the gym and all the improvements they have made over the years. Although our meeting was brief it was great to meet another BGPer and share my love of HS Bball with them.

Bracken didn't get the win but sometimes it's about the experience and seeing two D-1 signees playing together on the same team was just awesome. And I just hope the kids enjoyed the experience despite the final score.

On a positive note Sophmore Austin Crawford scored 27 on the night and in the process joined the 1000 point club. :thumb:

Forgot to mention the lady that sang the national anthem was just awesome. Great rendition :thumb:

Some of the best renditions are done by actual students. Haleigh Lanham comes to mind. When she was a student at Boyle she sang the best national anthem I have ever heard.

The first 12-14 minutes of the game Bracken stayed right with KCC. Stride for stride but about half way through the second quarter the patriots found another gear and it was Katie-Barr-the-door. Just took off and left bracken in the dust. Up till the formentiom 44-1 run the score was 26-22 KCC and it was their starters on the floor most of that time. That's one positive that can be taken from this game IMO for my polar bears.

Scoring for the game

Bracken:

Crawford 27

Engues 6

Hamilton 3

Lippert 2

Glad you enjoyed your visit. Austin Crawford can play anywhere! Scored Bracken's first 20 points without missing a shot. Knott switched defenders putting Simon Christon ( Knott's best defensive player) on him mid 2nd quarter, the start of the 44-1 run. Wish I could have met you Polarbear, I didn't get there until tipoff. So you met cahall, lol would you believe when he played high school ball at the old Knott Co. High, he ws as tall and might have weighed 130 lbs. See you next year at Bracken Co!

I blossomed.

One thing for sure yall grow them tall in the mountains I can see him and Chase Hall being related. They both go 6'6" easy maybe more. Hopefully next year your trip will be better without the rain. To me that was the only negative about the entire trip. Didn't to really enjoy the sights and th mountain because we couldn't see them. But I do plan on heading back that way seems like I passed several state parks and placed to spend a weekend in the mountains.

I blossomed.

Just want to say again it was great chatting Pregame. Wish it wasn't so brief but I'm hopeful you will make the trip up next season.

So it was not really a pay for play game if KCC will be at Brookville next year?

BC and KCC had a home and away football series a few years back
