I am having an argument with a friend of mine and I need an answer. Nothing unusual about us arguing because we disagree on everything. He knows everything and I don't know anything at all according to him. Are high school athletes allowed by the KHSAA to ride in cars to athletic events? Do they have to ride buses? Is it a violation for them to ride cars? THANKS

Being a Knott fan I have to be very happy with the win. However, I went to see the stars of these two teams compete. Chance Cornett had two fouls in the first three minutes; Cam Justice had two fouls with five minutes left in the second quarter. Johnson and Beverly had two fouls at he half. Johnson had a third foul early in the third quarter. The game was basically over when Johnson was assessed with a technical midway through the third. I don't know what he said but he got the T from a referee that I haven't seen call a Knott game. I have missed a lot of games this year so he could be someone I simply am not familiar with. That being said, Braxton did everything possible to keep PCC in the game, 23 in the second half, but Camron had 24 in the second half. Let's not forget that Evan Hall was consistent throughout the game. He ended with 19 and double figures in rebounds. Referees should never be the focus in any game. Knott would have been difficult to handle last night, regardless. They were ready to win. Let the argument begin about playing a difficult schedule. Knott certainly has. A big win but the regionals at Perry and Cordia and Hazard will play a role.

I believe Cam had 38 points. South Charleston was definitely the best team Knott has played. Play by play announcer told me he thought they shot about 70 percent from the field. Evan Hall had a good game but is simply not getting enough touches.
