I am being told that the game has been moved up. B team at 5 and varsity at 6:30. Weather is making this one difficult. Check back for other possible changes.

I continue to be amazed on this forum. Is it just me or is there a group of posters who can't wait to be critical of Knott County or their players? I know we are proud of our players and maybe we brag too much on them. Our love for our team causes us to boast but I wouldn't hold it against other teams' players if you expressed fondness for your players. I know they have a relatively easy schedule. The mountain teams always have a tough time being good enough to play with the bigger schools. I watch other regions and like what I see in many players. I try to express the positive about those teams and players. I can certainly find it easier to post something positive about those players rather than trying to attack their game. Last night I watched Catholic and LCA and saw a number of players I would be proud to watch. I'm just trying to understand the mentality but it just confuses me. Is it the argument these posters are looking for, or is it personal?

I love my big Man! Get the ball to him. It will make the rest of the team and those three easier, and more effective. Congrats on the big shot.

One more thing, I have been wanting SW to post their stats so I can see what they shot from 3 point land Saturday night. I'm not a patient person.

I have found out one thing from watching the 12th Region. They have outside shooters who can smoke the 3's.

Southwestern was red hot all night from 3 land. Knott got beat off the dribble and when help came Southwestern dished it to a shooter for the three. Knott was not quick enough to recover. The most important part of the win was Southwestern's physical play. Knott has not encountered a team that was making it clear they were going to mix it up. I don't know whether I am permitted to post videos of the game here but it definitely was played at an intensity that Knott seemed to not be ready for. The game was a loss for Knott but should be helpful in teaching them a valuable lesson. I expect Lincoln to be even tougher this Saturday.

The last I heard this game has been moved back to around 5. It is my understanding it has something to do with a funeral that someone with Southwest needs to be with. All I have heard! Look for changes.

Also want to mention that Chance had 12 rebounds, double-double.

Sophomore Wes Noble pitched in with 7 points.

Luka Stojicevic did not play last night.

June Buchanan is a district school which they have to play twice. If you check out Knott's schedule you will see they have not tried to play a Patsy schedule.

Let's give credit to JUNE Buchanan's size and defense. Evan Hall was very frustrated in the first game. I certainly believe he has something to prove this time. He needs a big game to show their size didn't stop him. Showing he just had a bad game is important.

He has Evan down twice. I don't think the building could hold two faces of beard like that.

Luka Stojicevic is a good looking kid. He just ran out of steam in the first game against Knott. I expect constant pressure to be put on him so the same thing happens again. Let's hope that Coach Justice is treated with a little more discretion this time around.

I like Clay. They look comfortable with the game they should play. Inconsistency in PCC's game concerns me. Tobler must stay out of foul trouble.

I would suggest that any fan attending a game at Cordia carry a little flashlight so you can see to get back to your car. Seriously, no lighting to speak of around the gym.

Two years ago I would have said the same thing about Perry Central. Knott is definitely a heavy favorite but it is hardly a done deal....One game at a time..getting better!

I have been told that the Knott-Powell game Saturday has a time change. Can someone confirm the time change? I have heard it's been moved from 7:30 to 5 for the Bteam and Ateam thereafter.

The KHSAA has made it clear that these stats need to be put up promptly. They are valuable assets to these kids and their opportunity to earn the recognition to get college scholarships. Johnson is a great kid and deserves the attention. Come on Coach, do a little work to help your kids.
