I think Cordia is 7-1 now. They have defeated 16-1 Webster County. Looks like they are a pretty decent team.

Cordia's size will give just about any team problems. They are huge. That west jessamine team is good they shoot the ball really good. Cordia could be an offensive juggernaut if they did not have such a thin bench. They only have 8 players and they play a little conservative but when they do get out in transition their athleticism really shows. It is not listed on the khsaa but it is in the works Ballard will be coming to the creek on jan 24.

Will they get to 14 wins?

Don't know they have Lawrence co x2 clay co, Whitley co, Ballard, and are in talks with Scott co and Paris. There are a few more but those are pretty much the more interested teams.

I think they can compete with all of those teams except Ballard. Clay County is a solid team, too.

How in the world did they talk Ballard into coming to Lott's Creek? Nothing wrong with the area,. I'm from the 14th region and my county school has played there many times. Nice community and nice people. But you are right in saying the Bruins will be in for culture shock. And Cordia's gym would be a stretch if they can get 200 fans in it.

 

But they'll have the pleasure of the beautiful scenery of the eastern Kentucky mountains on their way to the Knott County school. Of course, I'm a little biased in that regard.

Would they consider playing the game at Knott Central? I would think there would be a sizable crowd. Could be a decent money maker.
