KHSAA Boys Statewide Stats Leaders

Featured Replies

Trying to get Jeffersontown coaches to update statistics for the year. Johnson already has 75 made 3 point attempts (around 43%) and averages 26 points a game.

A couple of things stand out for me. Lee County has only attempted 30 ft's in 17 games, Green County only 16 attempts in 16 games. And Letcher County Central is for 4 for 9 on the year in 3pt fg?? Those stats for those teams must not be fully update. But thanks for posting this AndOneDad. I enjoyed looking at those #'s.

Dorian Henry (Mason COunty) at 21.2 ppg shooting 70% wow...............If I'm the Royals I find a way to get him some more shots per game.........

I love Carson Williams. 24.8 ppg, 119-171 FG=69.6%.

Ridiculous.

Neither one shoot from beyond 10 feet out. That % while very good is not ridiculous. They are a combined 1-7 from behind the arc. Most shots are close range or put backs. Shooting % should be high.

Also has to do with ease of schedule. Mason Faulkner leading point is same way, neither team has played a top 30 team.

If you can average 25 points per game and shoot nearly 70%, why would you take long range shots? Others on the team do that pretty well. Williams makes most of his shots with someone hanging on his arm or bumping him so there's that too. Also leads the state in rebounds.

Whitley Co was listed as 2nd best FF shooting team in state but for some reason Casey Crisologo was left off individual list. He was 37-41 for 90% and was 7-7 Tuesday night for 44-48 91.67%.

Depending on the number of games Whitley Co. has played, he may not have met the 3 attempts per game minimum criteria to be ranked.

The KHSAA has made it clear that these stats need to be put up promptly. They are valuable assets to these kids and their opportunity to earn the recognition to get college scholarships. Johnson is a great kid and deserves the attention. Come on Coach, do a little work to help your kids.
