West has really good skill kids. They won the Russell 7 on 7 on Saturday. QB brown will give teams as much trouble with his legs as he does his arm. He has some wheels. Teams on the WC schedule better not over look them this year. Should be a really good game this Saturday.

Quillen showed up a few weeks before dead period. Very athletic and could also help in the passing game if he sticks it out.

Ryan Byrd has officially been cleared.

You Raceland guys wanna trade districts? lol. Realignment didnt help us at all.

GC will improve again this year. The big question mark this season is how soon 1000+ yard rb Ryan Byrd will be fully recovered from knee surgery. That being said RB is probably where gc is deepest. Sophomores Jackson and Wright will contribute alot back there. Wright has big time speed and has made huge strides in the weight room. Matt Lawson seems to have fully recovered from knee surgery 2 seasons ago and will be a mainstay in the backfield. The oline will be pretty solid but not much depth. Kyle Cochran and Drew Johnston are strong and athletic and will lead the defense. Alot of other Sophomores will battling for starting positions. Warnock (FB), Clarke (LB) Collier (G) Craycraft (T) Ailster (E). Craycraft and Clarke both started most of the year last season. Warnock and Wright are both squating 400+ and Ailster and Collier have gotten much stronger this off season. Junior Jared Hunt will be in his second season at qb and should be much more comfortable in his role this season. WR Rusty Wells will be the big play threat again this season.

I havent lived in south shore for 15 yrs. If you are in Greenup and want to go to Raceland. What road do you take? 23 south. There for I made a joke about the rams being south of Greenup.

I think the West Ashland vs South Greenup game will be a really good game this year.

But in all seriousness. If you haven't seen him play. Belcher is a stud.

How do you get that? I said they got a really good rb transfer from Johnson Central. I dont care about paintsville. If they have a half way decent line, Belcher will be hard for any team to stop including the Rams. If that makes me a fan so be it.

You might not want to over look some of those district teams. You guys probably haven't seen the Belcher kid that Paintsville got from JC. He instantly makes them a contender.

GC tried to stop a few years back and got destroyed by everybody for trying. Now you guys dont want to play it anymore?
