If GRC can limit turnovers and slow down Campbell's backdrop cuts then they have a very good chance. I look for cc to try and speed up the game and pressure GRCs guards.

That's why we play the games. Face it, some have to get on here and try to convince themselves their team is good. In the end, the only thing that matters is that your team wins.

I like Simon, wv, grant and williamstown in the 8th. I also like Scott, cc, Brossart, silver grove and calvary in the 10th If you don't like the travel then don't go. Pretty simple. Besides, it's not bad as when the regions rotate you usually have to travel once every other year unless your on the boys side

I think you just put a whole lot of pressure on Scott's coaching staff and players. If Scott played them close previously, then logic tells me that since Campbell cnty gave everyone a blueprint for success then maybe it should be a walk in the park? I know you will back away from that but in essence that is what is being said

Mason co may very well lose their next game. But what I find astonishing is how some of the 'homers' on here refuse to acknowledge what a nice team mason has. I want get into their entire resume' but look at a very few facts: 2015 placed in final 4 of state tournament 2016 they have posted a 27 - 3 record of which is also against a sos of top 30 My question for the people on here bashing them and saying we are better is how? Give me one of your teams that can top the above two bullets. Now I realize they may very well lose. E-town lost last year and I can say they would honestly have beaten HC 8 out of 10 games but that particular game wasn't meant to be. Anyone can lose and I sure don't think mason is on any hot streak so from what I'm hearing is your teams (cc and Scott) should role thru them. That's a lot of pressure on your respective teams because if the good mason shows up believe me you have your hands full.

No doubt regarding the losses to good teams. Again, just saying the body of work meaning mason has only 3 loses on the year with an overall better sos rating That said, Campbell, as they have proved is more than capable of beating them.

Referees should be addressed for the very obvious 6 on the floor. Fortunately, it didn't have a bearing on the final outcome but could you imagine if it did? Inexcusable and no way you can tell me that one of the three didn't see it.

Regarding announcers. Again, I'm not going to bash them as I think they do an overall good job but when I'm watching the game and hear the complaining about certain obvious calls almost made me turn them off. I understand who they are pulling for but you have to be a realist. I don't have a dog in this fight, just watching and enjoying some BB.

By the way, this is why they should seed the districts. I just cant imagine how this game was enjoyable for either side.

Fieldhouse? Should stop by and watch the 9th in BBT. Much more enjoyable than sitting in the 'seen its hayday' fieldhouse. Like the facility but it has passed its prime. Soon to have 3 gyms in the region that are much nicer than the Fieldhouse. I know you homers that don't want to travel despise these comments but no way you can say these new arenas are not better than the Fieldhouse. I would even argue that CC old High School (middle school) gym provides a better atmosphere for the girls. As far as travel... if you are in the Region then its fair game I guess.

Love HC radio announcers as I listened sporadically while at the arena. But man.... do they have to complain about every foul that goes against HC?

Great job by Highlands girls!! Never gave up and it paid off in the end. I too wonder how in the world the refs didn't notice 6 on the floor when nearly the entire arena did, where were their minds. Interesting, however, that very possession made a huge difference for Highlands as they were able to take care of the ball against 6 and milk roughly 20 sec off the clock.

You have to like mergers chances but you also have to be very nervous playing southwestern. Not to mention the winner of this game could face a very good Lincoln squad after a semi-final battle. I don't envy mercer or southwestern draw.

I think if they meet then it would be a very good game. I realize cc won the first meeting but I also know mason cnty was in the midst of a very tough part of their schedule. When I look at the whole body of work this season you have to like mason. Campbell does have 9 losses this year so you know they are prone to bad games.

Seems to me the experience should be for the kids. I can tell you that I would much rather play in a college arena. Apparently, the fans would love to see that too as evidenced by the attendance. Proof is in the pudding.

I am not sure. Bbt drew the most fans the region has seen in some time. Guess it's not about the kids though.

I'm not sure the 8th has a gym within their geographic area that really fits the bill. I will say that much like mason, Henry cnty gym has seen its hay day

Only high school venues would be mont co and mason. Where it should be is bbt arena. Mason tries to keep an iron grip on it with a number of excuses and I will say I don't blame them. Mason is old and big and has history but if that is what decisions are made from then uk should still be in alumni or memorial. Join the rest of the state and go to venues that the kids would love to say they played in. The various other regions play at wku, eku, bellarmin, Corbin collesiom, Frankfort collesiom and I'm sure a few others. See the trend? The kids love it! Meanwhile mason completes their psychological warfare to make everyone believe that is the ONLY place. It's funny that I read mason fans complaining about the "ridiculous " drive they will have to make to Campbell county and the huge disadvantage they have. The 10th coaches get what they deserve by allowing mason to control it each year. If it's my districts time then we are hosting. Plane and simple Last point, mason has taken hosting this tournament for granit. I used to go every year but have chosen not to do so. I'm tired of seeing Mason's students sit in the middle of opposing fan bases or sitting directly behind the opposing teams benches. Should never ever be allowed if it is truly neutral. Mason continues to get away with these antics and the authorities always just put their palms to the air when you have a handful of students causing havoc. It gets old and I simply didn't enjoy that atmosphere and now stay home By the way. Attendance is way down at mason so when I look at these other regions in the larger arenas the atmosphere is so much better and enjoyable and you don't have homers destroying the atmosphere Wku.... Awesome. Frankfort. Awesome. Bellarmine awesome. Bbt. Awesome. Haven't seen Corbin or eku though
