Running clock from the half. Coach Graham played all of his players even 7th graders. Announcer said St Pat had more turnovers than points. GRC had a big crowd and the band made the long trip.

Ridiculous to have the tournament up there. Only two really "northern" teams (Scott & Campbell) two, MAYBE three teams in the "middle" (Mason St. Pat (Harrison?)) and three teams more southern (Bourbon, Nicholas, GRC)

 

I hate to bring up the location fuss again but it's ridiculous for the more southern teams to travel around 45 minutes through or around Maysville, then another 45 minutes-1 hour up to Campbell County.

 

Fieldhouse would be great for girls 10th region. Everyone having no more than a 1 hour or so drive.

Fieldhouse? Should stop by and watch the 9th in BBT. Much more enjoyable than sitting in the 'seen its hayday' fieldhouse. Like the facility but it has passed its prime. Soon to have 3 gyms in the region that are much nicer than the Fieldhouse. I know you homers that don't want to travel despise these comments but no way you can say these new arenas are not better than the Fieldhouse. I would even argue that CC old High School (middle school) gym provides a better atmosphere for the girls.

 

As far as travel... if you are in the Region then its fair game I guess.

By the way, this is why they should seed the districts. I just cant imagine how this game was enjoyable for either side.

Mason Co should host multiple region and district tournaments, even if they aren't a part of them, since Maysville is an hour away seemingly from everywhere.

Just got in from the St. Pat/GRC game. Big shoutout to the Campbell staff for first games. Friendly staff and great gym. Also had the chance to meet some of the St. Pat fans. They were some really nice people and I wish them all nothing but luck in the future.

I agree. I imagine the St. Pat girls were miserable. So much for the thrill of making the region tournament.

This game was so hard to watch on so many levels. I understand their is money involved when your team is in the region but having your team get beaten by over 60 points does nothing for anyone and embarrasses the kids.
